When I lived in Waterbury CT, they took care of me when I broke my arm. They didn't ask for a single penny, and they were just the best. I don't live there anymore, but I like to donate funds to them for that reason. They always came out and took care of everyone, no matter their faith, race. etc.
I live in Waterbury and was just wondering if this group ever got started; I remember hearing about one being started quite a few years ago..... Next time I see someone friendly at the 7-11 on Cooke Street, I'm gonna ask them 😃
A neighbor of mine was saved 15 years ago by a man named elizer rosman b27 who also took in many of my freinds parents and together with another neighbor saved many lives b15 yitzchok zidel was that other neighbors name till today there will never ever be a member that took that amount of calls still going at 73 and mr b27 was still active till recently as well and in his 50s and 60s very very active. Ty and ty b45 b13 b46 b59 b54 b35 b65 b70 b67 b69 and the many many others not mentioned here.
Wow a private health care service that serves everyone equally.....oh wait....no it doesn't. God obviously told us to hate one another.....I don't think so. Be kind to one another as you do to yourself, regardless of faith or beliefs.
Under NY state law, volunteer ambulance corps may run emergency lights, and may be staffed by state certified medical personnel. If their private vehicle contains lifesaving equipment (ranging from defib to meds) then those private vehicles may be mounted with emergency lighting.

God bless Jewish people.

I’m sure the insurance payments were very lucrative!
10 minutes?, it shouldn't even take 3.
Depends on the neighborhood. Some have more members living or working there than others.
Now response times are around 85 seconds. When I broke my arm, they were there in a 1 minute because there was one that lives around the block.
It didn't take 10 minutes within 2 to 4 minutes almost every call Especially in Brooklyn
Max 5 minutes
Even in the catskills were everone is spread apart less then that time members everyware and an ambulance there within minutes and medics as well.

Thank God they are
They are just like any other volunteer Ambulance Service, and if anything these guys are way more professional and dedicated
By that Blue Star that says NYS Certified through NYS or NYC DOH
