Zachary so true!! the first song I heard by her was Burning Desire. I then knew she was going to be big. I love her style and how she doesn't have to try so hard to be relevant. she's the type of artist where every time you hear her music you feel like it's almost a private underground music club your apart of, and you forget that many other people know her music. It's like each song was just written for you! The music video was amazing!!

In 1923..The Hollywood Sign was built for advertisement for the upscale real estate development, Hollywoodland. When it was built The developers expected the Sign to last about a year.
The Sign become somewhat of a West Coast tourist attraction. The Sign endures and becomes a glamorous symbol for Hollywood.
On a Friday evening in 1932, struggling young actress, Peg Entwhistle, 24, climbs up to the top of the letter H, and takes a swan dive into the mountain, achieving in death the fame that eluded her in life.
By the mid-1940’s the Sign had begun to fall apart . It is in such bad shape all those living by it and around it tried hard to have it removed. So The developers decide to sell their last 450 acres, which included the Sign, and turn it over to LA.
Around 1949.....The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce makes a plan to repair and rebuild the Sign and remove the “land” so that it would spell “Hollywood.” The sign had problems and some stars would pitch in cash to help them with keep up.
In 1973 Gloria Swanson sponsors yet another completes a makeover of the Sign. The 50-year-old Sign is declared a Historical Landmark.
In 1978 Five years after the Swanson makeover, termites infested the wood and an “O” has tumbled down the mountain. One time some people set fire to the bottom of an “L.” The City decided it needed a very expensive makeover
Hugh Hefner stepped in and held a lavish fundraiser at the Playboy Mansion to raise funds for the rebuilding costs. In order to raise the additional funds needed to restore the Sign, celebrities and community leaders sponsor individual letters. Hugh does own the "Y"
When The new Sign, was complete. It was unveiled on Hollywood’s 75th Anniversary celebration in November live to a television audience of millions.
In 2010 the Sign’s #1 fan, Hugh Hefner, and others made a declaration to keep the sign up and always keep it beautiful. Thanks to Mr. Hefner’s contribution, grants from The Tiffany & Co. And other contributions from Hollywood leaders and fans around the world, this cultural landmark will be protected.
I'm not sure why anyone would say Lana built the sign. She's my Queen but I can't and won't give her credit for this sign. Please know she's my life but she said all the rumors of the sign are not true.
Anyway..... as much as I'd love to give Lana all the credit, it would not be right!!
