    The ring dips look stupid with all of that kipping. You wonder why crossfit gets a bad rep, it's because of this pathetic kipping action.

      Kipping is just for practicing competing in the sport of CrossFit. It's like practicing kicking or throwing a ball for a sport. Part of the training is doing general fitness things and part of training is practicing the skills needed for competition. Both of these athletes are top 100 in the world in the sport of CrossFit.

      @@timothysnow5 kipping is cheating the movement so you can complete more of that particular movement. Other than increasing your reps, it has no health or fitness benefit.
