Hi Emily Froud i'd like to thank you so much because your explanations are so helpful. It is my first time opting for sociology and literally it feels like hell with those theories. I did'nt know that there would be a Marxist or a Parsons or Functionalist this freaks me out, but hopefully your videos gave me confidence and in depth knowledge about the subject. Thank you so much. Love you
Umair Mukadam Different countries have different papers with different questions. His B will be different than ours. I also have my exam in 5 hours. Goodluck
the gov shegged us as well, how they saying for the crime and deviance topic "revise crime and deviance" and more time the adavanced info only yells us info for 20 markers and 30 markers
possibly a slight error with marxists liking social policy. it is often a common misconception but marxists are critical of social policy as it only benefits the ruling class, they do not support capitalism but instead observe the detrimental effects it has on those less fortunate. therefore, it would be wrong to say that they support social policy as it only creates a bigger inequality within society!! thanks for the video :)
@emily forud can u help me with one question , idk what to talk about , the question is “outline and explain the relationship between theoretical and it’s affect on a sociologist choice of research methods to investigate society” ( 10 marks) i would really appreciate if u help me T.T I want to get at least 6-7 marks
Hi your videos are great. I have answered a 2017 AS paper 1 research method question. But I do not know if it is good enough. Would it be possible for you to have a look at my response? If so could you provide an email id where I can attach my written response.
What would u suggest is the best text sociology text book / revisions guide.... the one my teacher uses isn't really good and I find is has loads of access info???
evey farrington it’s ethical because they’re aware that they are being observed and removes the possibility of the researcher ‘going native’ as they are not as included in the group

Mimi Shah there are sociology revision guides that are called “a level in a week” which are really simple and tell you exactly what you need to know
emily froud thank you

Such an annoying topic
Literally they just had to chuck in some extra unnecessary stuff to make us all suffer
You missed out methodological pluralism and post mod perspective

What are two advantages of overt observation? X
