  • My mission is to bring a new awareness of the special needs community. The struggles we face as an advocate, insurance debacles, therapies, and at the end of the day you are still a mom.
Smile and nod to someone who is in a wheelchair. The simple things we take for granted can be a life changing moment for someone else.
Every life is precious and has meaning.
    Make someone smile today!!!

I have always wondered if I was alone in my crazy "mom of a sick kid" hearing. Riley is 15 and that hearing that I developed with monitors and seizures and machines when he was little has never gone away. I cannot sleep in the same room with my husband at all. I have to sleep totally alone, with earplugs and noise makers (Riley is not so sick anymore and shares a room with his 9 year old brother who can get me if he needs something). I don't think the super sonic hearing will ever go away- God given but really annoying!
