Somebody completely forgot about ENH Shaman. These guys are beasts! Especially in Cata.

The fact that the blood DK killed swifty in half the time the frost DK did
the fact that the unholy dk killed swifty 1/3 of the time than the frost did
frost dk was bad, he was in blood presence and doing aoe instead of single damage lolol
Frost DK have never ever had the same dps as other classes and specs ever in the game
Frost DK is only good for aoe farming grey mobs
The paladin and warlock clips made me shed tears... so bad...

Nice video, I enjoyed it. The frost DK was the epitome of someone is unable to play their class.
You can argue how accurate this is - I noticed, atleast with the elemental shaman and resto druid that I'm plaing on live, that they weren't doing their max - druid wasn't even in tree form!

That frost dk didn't know how to best as a dk
btw the arcane mage didn't do the best he could, it's actually more burst damage if you don't use any arcane barrage and just spam arcane blast since it takes off your arcane blast buff/debuff when you cast anything besides arcane blast which gives you more damage and less casttime for your arcane blast each timem you cast it. but DAMN I didn't know arcane blast was that strong...sry for the long post I'm no good at summarizing :P

@snakeboy1111 It was "Whipslash" of the sukkubus (wl pet) it existed for a short amount of time in the cata beta. if you used it on an enemy it catapulted him into the sky like an astronaut^^. Sorry for my english im german :).
Having blood presence on while in frost/unholy spec is really beneficial. it gives lots of bonus hp, damage reduction and stuff like that. the only benefit you get from frost presence is 10 less runic power when you cast frost strike
The elemental shaman obviously had 8 stacks of lightning shield and which the 9th stack was given by chain lightning, So the 38707 crit was from earth shock.

@murdurdollz Use blade storm to get out of their cc and remove the bladestorm effect and charge, use pvp trinkets, if Human use racial ability, use heroic leap. Eventually the mage will run out of cc abilities and then you nuke. Throwdown is useful as well in certain moments. Try to keep up harmstring. Remember to use keybinds.
Lol at the warlock at 09:00 using Immolate as affliction, when Unstable Affliction is already up. He should know that they overwrite eachother.
@Tzeapaedi There was a bug earlier in beta where Warlock demon Succubus' ability Lash of Pain would send you flying into the air for some unknown reason.
The Owl Dudu spent over 3 seconds jumping around.
honestly, the burst damage output that some classes dish out can only be achieved in certain times in pvp, for instance that prot warrior yet was slow but imagine just attacking him in battle he's gonna get more rage and more blocks for revenge procs etc damage shield, so the dps still isnt at 100% before of the rage starve or whatsoever.

@00ps the hunter is survival, so i think that when he uses that trap he's allowed to use explosive shot like 3 times, with no cd.

With the prot warrior u can't really count that because they also do alot of damage from "revenge" when u dodge them so the prot warrior also missed out on alot of damage.

I'd assume its titled wrong, considering Cata didn't even come out until December 2010. This video was released in October 2010. I doubt they'd be doing the PTR for 4.1 while 4.0 was still in dev.

Obviously I was referring to Tree of Life, which is VERY much still here.
The only thing that has changes is the form - it is a COOLDOWN.
Let me read up Wraths tooltip for you:
Tree of Life: Cast time reduced by 50 %, damage increased by 30 %.

That shaman did the most burst from what I saw because he didn't start doing real damage until 3 seconds in and dropped him from like 85% to 1%

cmon Swifty, 1/2 of those guys were rocks. Frost DK doing god knows what, a Shadow Priest putting up VT last, Paladin Attacking from the front...

Affliction lock using Void walker and Immolate spell.. GG.
ele shaman should open with lightning bolt then chain lightning then flame shock (all these will hit the target at same time) then pop elemental mastery for instant lava burst then chain lightning cause it's faster cast time than lightning bolt.

@irlegendz You are wrong, this PTR was old and didn't have moderne Patch Changes.
Arms is pretty awesome too with the new interrupt btw. But for me it seems like fury has more burst in PvP.
Swifty should definitely remake this video except in 4.3 and with actual good players
That affliction warlock did not know what he was doing.... overrode his UA with immolate
And for all the ppl hating on the lock u can see he whispers swifty saying that he didn't really play lock, he's inexperienced
The astronaut warlock glitch is a bug goin on with whiplash, where, instead of knocking you back, it simply launches you up into the air.

Burst, is the ability to do a lot of damage in a small time frame.
If you want to frame it in two globals, you'll have a different burst list, than say one like this video, where the frame is the time it takes to defeat his pally.
Also, if you're doing two globals, are you talking about at any time, or with setup?
Of course this video isn't all that accurate anyways. Low samples, no guarantee of player experience, etc.
The tank classes will actually do more damage than that in an actual fight, since they have vengeance.

it's actually moonkin (I checked the name in the game), but idk why everyone calls it boomkin. no biggy, maybe boomkin just sounds better :)

feral druids are op... Can't disarm, can't fear, can't polly and have a last stand as dps that gives a shit ton of health.. plus gogo bear form with selfheal.

there is a 20% runic generation boost, but that's like +2 RP per attack so yea your right, although I like the 10% attack+movement speed increase for unholy :P.

Swifty could you please show enhancement shaman's burst? I mean you showed elemental shamans burst which was awesome. but I am very anxious too see how they buffed enh if at all, as you said. Melee got buffed. Awesome vid btw.

So Swifty, I was wondering if you had the chance to try out Fury and Arms in the beta and on PTR, what are your perspective on these two new talents as they have received a rework if you've had the chance to try it. Also, if so would one of your new videos be with fury and arms spec testing that would be great. I am playing warrior and it is simply impossible to do any mages. And.. it seems so that if I was fury I had more wins in duels because of the burst. Arms it pretty good no doubt.
Arcane mage didnt cast his 4th arcane blast if he did it was 6 sec and if he used POM it would be less then 6 sec im sure the other class even had some sort of cd which didnt used here .
both frost dk and lock was 2 years old, but anyways good vid as always swifty
@00ps @2 the hunter was survival so he poped the frost trap to get lock&load to proc wich gives him 2 free explosive shots wich trigger no cooldown

Are Elemental Shamans overpowered since they can do insane bursts + heal themselves reasonably high + slow you pretty much throughout the whole fight?

@00ps well i agree with some but the hunter should have put frost tap there 1st for lock and load
Affliction Lock didn't put up Curse of the Elements, he overwrote his UA with Immolate, let Haunt fall off, opened with Haunt (wrong), didn't Drain Soul in execute range and was using a Voidwalker for a pet. Really? I know that you want to show burst (Affliction will never do good burst) but at least use a Lock that knows what the hell he's doing. He makes us all look bad.
