Hello, I was introduced to SGI years ago and didn't take to the practice. I have reached a place where I have realized I want to change my life condition and become re-connected with the practice. Since covid hit I have found it difficult to figure out how i can connect. I live in San Francisco at the moment and would love to meet anyone who knows of zooms meetings that maybe happening for beginners. Thank You!

When you said you made a “vow to crush discrimination”, it reminded me of an important teacher in my life. He said, “Love is my sword.” Love expressed as the heart virtue of Valor is a powerful force in the universe. It carries no judgement of the person while identifying harmful behaviors. It is companion to the heart virtues of Appreciation, Compassion, Forgiveness, Humility and Understanding. Valor shows the way to the open heart. Spoiler alert: Love wins.

Thank you for the insight. I to was horrified by the incident. I am making some changes and embracing buddhism. I was exposed to it at a early age but I was a apostolic and didn't understand the concept and the teaching. But now I am moving full speed and becoming saturated in the teachings. Again I am Thankful for your prospective.
