Interesting how the song switches to eighth notes, no dotted notes, before the solo and through most of the wind-down. The tension of those dotted notes has been released and there's a more easygoing feel. It's not a Latin song, but the dotted rhythm is Latin and when I think of Latin songs that I know they tend to keep the tension up, so it was just so surprising to note. Seeing your transcription helped me focus on that. Thanks!

I’m a beginner bassist in my band and people always make fun of me for not knowing how to play most of the songs, so I just want them to stop and that’s why I’m here.
well this is a great bassline to get under your fingers. It has everything: groove, odd feel, variations, and even a little solo.
And I can say the following: as an amateur bassist all I can say: most of people mock based on what they can’t do. Ur trying, and that’s the important!! Keep it up❤
