AI kills himself as Jaraxxus with pact, kills himself with like 5 flame imps, rewinds charge-gotten Warhorse, uses the "Destroy all Statues and deal X DMG" on one of the statues = useless, BGHs his Majordomo therefore becoming Ragnaros > dead and just uses shitload of cards and mana for nothing.

One thing that I don't like about the Kripperinos is that it degrades the comment section from a discussion on the video's topic to a Kripp-fest of repeated jokes. It's funny ya, but I think the joke has run itself into the ground by now.

I hate Kripperinos more then "Siema" in the game chat ;-).
I'm almost certain that the AI evaluates a move by putting out the maximum number of stats on the board with available mana. The AI does not consider battlecry or inspire effects, and cards are played in the order which they were drawn (which is why cards are played in the wrong order, or will do things like BGHing it's own minions). The AI does consider the effect of deathrattles when they have an immediate effect on the board state.

I think Vaelastrasz acting totally in character? From his dialogue during the fight he sounds like he's suffering pretty badly and he sounds genuinely relieved when he's defeated.

Nope, there are an infinite amount of Flame Imps waiting to harass and mock him in his afterlife.
This is pretty similar to how I wrote the AI for my digital card game -- "Always cast the most expensive spell that you can afford to cast. Don't worry about how good it is." One difference is that for targeted cards in which you always want to pick your stuff or always want to pick your opponent's stuff, I gave the card a 'recommended' property so that it only targets things belonging to the appropriate player, otherwise it won't cast that spell. I guess the Hearthstone AI doesn't have that.
With some fairly cheap improvements to the AI, similar to the rule list bots use (but hopefully better), HS could have a decent single player mode. In chess, players can rank themselves against the computer (AI) which is insanely good. HS could do something similar, perhaps even have a dedicated single player ladder and arena mode vs the computer. Single player arena wouldn't necessarily give rewards, but could be a good way to transition new players into normal arena, which is getting more and more competitive every year, keeping many of them from sticking with it. For single player ladder the computer could use several prebuilt decks (patron warrior, tempo mage, murloc paladin, reno lock, etc). The solo adventure menu choices can be expanded as well, for instance after selecting warlock, you could chose which kind (zoo, hand, reno) or just random. Experimental players could test their new deck against these decks, which can be useful when you're trying to strengthen it against aggro decks. Patches could add addition decks to pit yourself against, including some fun decks, old TB decks, or creative decks that blizzard makes. The difficulty level could be adjustable, or as simple as just adding a heroic mode above the current "expert" level. With some additional development effort the computer AI could find the best possible move given its deck and which deck it perceives yours to be. Chess AI was complete crap when I was a kid, but it's basically undefeatable now. I don't think blizzard has spent any real development effort on the AI, so there are a lot of potential improvements they can make at the very least.

In my game Rafaam got ysera from his unstable portal. He then spent the next 3 turns playing Dream on his own Ysera and then playing it again, he didn't even attack with it.

The biggest problem IMO is how viable of a strategy Kel'Thuzad + taunt minion is on nearly every boss. It "like, totally explodes my brain."

When I was playing the boss in the last wing of the new expansion that uses your deck and used a priest deck the AI didn't know soulpriest switched from heal to damage and killed several of its own minions.
Holy Christ that last one with the BGH. His face killed me. The AI is atrocious.

The beginner AI in heroes of the storm is also pretty hilarious. Although I am very thankful for it because I am terrible at the game and it makes doing dailies enjoyable.

I have another glitch in the AI for you. It thinks minions with the "Can't attack" description have an attack of zero, and will attack them with face, killing themselves. They won't do this with other minions but I've had them do it many times to my ragnaros

Not to get too technical Vaelastrasz the Corrupt was being mind controlled (although fighting it and is conflicted) it would make sense in not deck theme. But in the overall theme; cause why wouldn't you play cards that can potentially kill you?

The Mage Class Challenge of Blackrock Mountain is the best way to discover those things.
I play against that daily, just to get that legendary feel on a F2P account.
Trying to kill him without hitting his face ever, keeping lorewalker cho alive and make him mill himself all the time is the best way to have a great day.
