- Due to improved access roads, some old forgotten trails have become available for use. These trails will allow us to horseback ride with only a 15 minute trailering from the farm! We wern't sure how nervous the horses would be on these old trails (in some cases trees are growing up in the middle of the trail). Ride with us and find out how they do!
After a few hunter paces, when my mare's neck got sweaty and my leather reins got too slippery hold, I started using cotton web reins. Much better at absorbing/evaporating moisture.
They would be. Lucky for me Kohl doesn't try to grab the bit and go (most days!)
Aw, sad that the little trail/road did not turn into something longer for the two of you. That grabbing leaves is a no no for my mare. It is annoying to me and any riding partners. I am glad you ladies got out.
Oh well, there are at least two other little side roads to explore. Sadly - the bugs will keep us out of them for a bit! I don't mind them grabbing leaves - sometimes we have very long days on trail - but Kohl was excessive on that day!
