I feel that what makes Stromae so much better than many mainstream American/British musical artists is that he is not afraid to push people's comfort zones, he does not 'cap' his creativity, he does not put out what he thinks 'others' want to hear; he puts out what he wants to show. Music is an art, and art is creativity, but music has been so irredeemably commercialized. He, however, still treats it as an art.

I just came back and seriously, this performance of Ta fête is like one of the most hardcore intros to a concert I've ever seen. Damn. That's like a prime example of how to completely win your crowd within the first track.
I saw this exact concert in a small venue with 500 people in my city (Cologne) back then, and it just blew my mind. It‘s incredible that this works exactly the same when filling an entire stadium with 20k+ people. I so much adore this guy - he puts so much meaning in everything he produces. His music is fantastic, his lyrics are genius, his live performances are next level entertainment and the definition of creativity. I hope he will be around many more decades to entertain us. Stromae is such a beautiful artist - he so much cares about his audience, he treats his band well, he has so much creativity and such a positive spirit. I wish him all the best. And ps - yes, I got my ticket too for Lanxess Arena in May 2023.

I'll be the first to admit I don't speak french fluently or even all that well but from what i do know the subtitles have seemed as accurate as possible considering things can't always be directly translated

Tariq it took me about a year where I was comfortable to speak. I had mainly two ways I did it, and they were dulingo and my wife. I would use dulingo on my free time, mainly at night. It just depends on how much you want to learn. My tip is to find something like dulingo and use it everyday and watch French movies

This is otherworldly. ¡QUÉ ESPECTACULAZO! The singing, the songs themselves, the performance, the dancing, the stage presence, the storytelling, the musicians, the light show, the stage production, the audience. It’s absolutely everything. I bet most of the people that were present there remember this as one of their best experiences in life. I don’t have the words in either English, Spanish nor French to express how insane this is. What an absolute gem to have found on a random Thursday night.
I lost 60 kilos by dancing to his sound. I was highly depressed and didn't come out of bed or my room. Now I've been travelling with a backpack, dancing whereever I go to his sound. Thanks @Stromae for the energy, inspiration and motivation.

The band is SO GOOD, the backing vocals are perfect on every song and they show off some pretty nice instrumental chops too. It's not easy to make dance oriented songs sound better live than the recordings but these guys outdo the original on every song. Awesome.

Keyk.de It’s not that clear but he had a decease and since then he says he suffers from a lot of anxiety and other after treatment symptoms. That’s why he doesn’t want to sing anymore these days. But he still does a lot of beats for some french artists. It’s not the same but you can easily ear that it’s him.

I left all of my friends to go see Stromae at Coachella bc no one else wanted to go. Damn was it worth it. I was so close. It was so insane. I danced my ass off and lost my voice. Stromae was as incredible as he is here. And then Kanye came out. One of the most magical nights of my life.

Now THIS is a concert. From a one of a kind artist. A true one at that. Such energy levels and stamina. I thought I would stop at somewhere in the middle, but man, I just didn't notice the time when it ended. Lucky people to be at this concert. Much props to the lights and effects team as well. Terrific stuff! And my favourite songs: 0:20:53 (Tous les mêmes), 0:58:09 (Formidable), And the part where the entire crowd dances with him (I forgot to note the timeline). That was just amazing.
This concert is utter perfection. I have never in my 68 years on earth loved anyone as much. I discovered Stromae when Cheese was released and fell in love with his work immediately. Subsequently i watched every one of his Leçons and i e watched this particular concert on RUclips more times than i can count. I never tire of his musical genius, great artistic talent and charisma. He is also very humble. Adorable person and musical genius. I think he'd be a great actor as well. Thank you for enriching my life Stromae. You are a gift to the world.

This is otherworldly. ¡QUÉ ESPECTACULAZO! The singing, the songs themselves, the performance, the dancing, the stage presence, the storytelling, the musicians, the light show, the stage production, the audience. It’s absolutely everything. I bet most of the people that were present there remember this as one of their best experiences in life. I don’t have the words in either English, Spanish nor French to express how insane this is. What an absolute gem to have found on a random Thursday night.
And you'll keep coming back again and again, and it will always hit with the same intensity. 🙌

The band is SO GOOD, the backing vocals are perfect on every song and they show off some pretty nice instrumental chops too. It's not easy to make dance oriented songs sound better live than the recordings but these guys outdo the original on every song. Awesome.
well they've been with him since day 1, and still are, he didn't "randomly" picked them ... so yeah somehow they're a band..
Also, have in mind that this video is posted from a VEVO Account and it had the purpose to promote the artist and band, for what I saw apparentely it has a few alterations in audio and video (you can see some small strange camera transitions)

I left all of my friends to go see Stromae at Coachella bc no one else wanted to go. Damn was it worth it. I was so close. It was so insane. I danced my ass off and lost my voice. Stromae was as incredible as he is here. And then Kanye came out. One of the most magical nights of my life.

This concert is utter perfection. I have never in my 68 years on earth loved anyone as much. I discovered Stromae when Cheese was released and fell in love with his work immediately. Subsequently i watched every one of his Leçons and i e watched this particular concert on RUclips more times than i can count. I never tire of his musical genius, great artistic talent and charisma. He is also very humble. Adorable person and musical genius. I think he'd be a great actor as well. Thank you for enriching my life Stromae. You are a gift to the world.
