0:45 -- I'm only 45 seconds into this video, and already Lance proved to me that he's on 'em! This is PRECISELY how I target greenfish on the river -- and it's been GOOOOD. Thanks, man!
It’s a great way to catch quality fish!
Cant ever beat the topwater frog explosions! Nice work!
They are fun, thank you Nate!
Nice video with lots of good tips, thanks !
Frog fishing is really fun when they start launching out of the water after the frogs!
Probably my favorite bite on the river!
Love the videos!
Thank you Matt!
Which frogs do you like to use up there? I always use the Booyah Pad Crasher frogs. They always work for me so I don't deviate from them. I'm on Pools 11-14 down in Iowa.
Booyah are my go to as well. They are effective and not so hard on the wallet.
Thanks, I did enjoy and learn some things. But I hardly recognized you without a cap on your head!!!
Might be my first video with no hat 😂
The Bowfin is so under appreciated that SMACK they make when hitting a frog can make your heart stop!
That was definitely a loud pop on that frog!
Great video and nice fish! Do you ever fish with a Whopper Plopper at all?
Thank you! Occasionally but they are tough to fish on the Mississippi due to the amount of floating grass. If water is free of floating weeds they are awesome!
Do you edit out all the pike catches? I pretty much always get a few pike when frogging for bass up here on pool 4. I tend to be an early morning person, but you seem to favor the evening hours. I may have to do that more. Nice video as always.
Believe it or not I have not been getting many pike recently. I’m not sure why. No pike catches on this day.
lol you hit so many of those fish right on the head!
This time of the year largemouth is the best game fish bite going
Summer is bass time!
Nice. Which part of Mississippi? I often go to Wabasha area backwaters
One of my favorite areas is the dike road between Wabasha and Nekson.
La Crosse area
@@andrewwilhorn1066 will try it someday, thanks
you look like a pro bass fisherman lol
That’s not nice lol
@@AnglerX it’s fun to switch it up sometimes
This has to be the northern part mississippi river
Yes. La Crosse, Wi area.
With those conditions you couldn’t pull the spinnerbait out of my hands.
I’m a fan of the spinnerbait myself!
