was that first picture the bottom end of pool 8? your vids are really relatable, keep fishing and filming tournaments! one of the better youtubers I've watched in while! thanks for keeping it real!
Dude, these are huge on the information, for those of us just starting tournaments but have fished our entire life is to me a huge benefit. I think it helps where ever your at . I fish in Arizona and all this info helps me big time, if not just the alternate techniques. Love each and every post, I look forward to watching them as soon as I see the alert. Great job. I hope and strive to be able to do something like this and sustain myself. And this is a push for me to continue on the journey.
I really like where you're going with this. You've became my favorite to watch because I am also a competitive tournament fisherman. Gets boring watching those other guys doing the same fun fishing every time. Watching tournaments is so much more entertaining.
Favorite RUclipsr!! I like watching a normal person who just loves to fish, seems like all the other youtubers started out that way but got away from that! Keep doing you!
I've been digging your videos man. There aren't very many river videos out that are helpful so thanks for this one. I live on the Arkansas River and fish it at least twice a week. Everything you said is spot on. Going to check out those trailers for that black/blue swimjig you showed us.
Fantastic video. Agree with you 100% . on the tournament fishing coverage . Tornament recaps are very informative for info on baits , techniques, and bodies of water. Joe Holland Fishing does a great job on giving an inside look at the FLW tour. You covered a lot river fishing tips . Again fantastic video. Your sliding into your new profession nicely , brother . Keep it coming.
Great video and excellent content. Over the past 10 years I've had to move from the Lake Mead area (crystal clear water) to fishing the Mississippi in same pool you showed. Many anglers won't discuss some of the tips shown here so it's great to see someone helping new river guys out. It took my partner and I two years of fishing to figure out much of what is discussed here. I'd add that finding clear water is very important as well, but otherwise a great video that covered a ton of real data. Thanks!
I like to hear your thoughts and what you learned. This new body of water vids should be good for first thoughts and tactics approving a new lake/water system.
Love this content , I’ve never lake fished , always river and until recently never used artificial always live bait so I really appreciate the fact you broke it all down for me , Thanks a lot
Here in Connecticut. The CT river is one of the main spots to fish. Its a big fast moving River that spans the whole state, and is filled with small mouth. walleye, largemouth, different species of cats. Just filled with fish life. My go too's for faster current tend to be a chatter, or spinnerbait in a white. white/chart, or shad color. and in calmer areas were i can work a top water a walking bait or whopper plop are amazing. If the bite is really tough and i just need to get some numbers my secret weapon is a Chartreuse or white Rooster tail. Any how, great video man. Thanks for sharing with us
Been a catfisherman most my life. Just got into bass fishing here in Wv. PB smallie 3lbs 19 in and largemouth 4.8lbs 22 in. Love watching your vids and learning.
Milliken!, do you have any problems getting your kastking stealth's tuned properly? I've been tossing mine with different size lures and messing with brakes and tension, but still having issues with backlash, any tips would be great. Awesome river system breakdown I'll apply some of that to my kayak fishing!
Milliken Fishing people dont realize how much staph sucks...then the medicine drains you...takes a strong minded dude to still perform... Tip of the hat sir!
Hey Ben. Just fished that entire Blackhawk park through the sloughs into Desoto Bay. Just looked killer. Real dirty and blown out from rain so no luck. But going back this weekend fir a 2 day tournament. Your video gave me a lot of ideas. Thank you
A lot of good info in this man.. one thing I can tell you nailed was the lightest weight possible in the current, and not pegging texas rig. RIGHT ON! Im on Chickamauga and cant tell you how much that bait to weight separation matters along with the fall, I need to make a video about this on my channel.
Great video, I live off of the Mississippi River south of where you were about 100 miles, and have been a little intimidated to bass fish it. Thanks for the awesome tips. Hopefully I'll catch some slaunches.
I hope one day i can fish with you man you are so entertaining and it seems all you do is have fun when you are on the water. if you're ever in Florida i know some FIRE ponds. One day ill own a boat when im not a poor college student lmao.
Probably should have watched videos from beginning to most recent but have been watching them in reverse, but either way great video. Awesome information helps a bunch learning a lot. Keep up the good work and great videos. You ever head toward southeast Indiana I can tell you where there are some decent spots.
I’m confused, are you throw your bait or into the water and letting it drift into the current? Is that where you expect to fin the bass? Or just where the current slows down?
Hi there I live in South Carolina and I fish the Savannah River a lot can you give me some pointers on fishing Savannah River or have you ever fished Savannah River before I will appreciate some tips on how to fish Savannah River or fish in the river . Because I'm new to bass fishing
Great vid dude! Been learning a river by me lately and doing tournies on it as well. My only problem is it does not have alot of current. even with the locks and barges going all day, it just doesnt seem to have good current unless it rains and floods. Any tips for what to try to help find them with minimal current? when it floods and the river gets rolling they are on fire on points but the same points are dead with no current.
How did you like fishing my home turf? lol There are so many different combinations of waterways and structures and topographic features in the area its like a box of every flavor jelly beans, you could get sweet victory or skunk. lol
Don't know if you know but they found zebra mussels in Carter lake I know you fish there a lot just cuz I know what the lake looks like but anyways might want to keep an eye out and make sure you keep your motor cleaned out ;)
Bro your channel is definitely becoming one of my favorites, and you are a guy I'd like to fish with one day
You should give up. You’re the clown of fishing.
@@grandpadale4026 shut up
I love the tourney footage. I've never done a serious tourney so I enjoy watching the way people approach them.
I've fished rivers for 50 years and I still learned a ton thanks man great video.
was that first picture the bottom end of pool 8? your vids are really relatable, keep fishing and filming tournaments! one of the better youtubers I've watched in while! thanks for keeping it real!
Good information, since I new to fishing it's nice to have a place to go where I can learn how, where, and when to use lures/bait.
Thanks for the video...super helpful! Thanks for being open about the baits and not just stroking off your sponsors.
