Good student violins, good price n still hand made, which give many young students a chance to learn to play the violin, many thanks to the violin makers 👏 👏 👏
I am in the violin business. The Chinese production of violins has come a long way the last 20 years. They make violins in a wide variety of quality. In the video they show a person painting on “flame”, figure that is on higher quality, prettier wood, here they are faking it. Even among a batch of violins, no matter the quality level, you will have good ones and bad ones. They really need to be assessed individually. The higher quality, pricier violins coming from China can be amazingly good in their looks and playing quality. However, they can still have issues that require a skilled luthier to address. No matter how pretty the wood and varnish, the most important thing is that it stays glued together and that it is setup well as to not hold the player back.
Different customers have different needs, some customers just want fake flames, some customers want real flames, we also have many violins with real flames, the video is just a part of Our work

Violin factories are basically mass-produced.🤣😂

you pay for what you get, and 100$ is not enough for the flamed maple alone
Quality is pathetic as it is Chinese made😂
The quality made in China is still very good, otherwise our country’s exports would not be so much every year, please believe made in China
Actually some Chinese made instruments are quite good, these ones are low end cheap junk.
The one in the video is a popular violin for students. Our high-end violins are not made in this way.
You can always pay $50000 for a pretty decent Italian instrument 😂
