To answer your question as someone who has dealt with Homeland Security. Yes, it is illegal to hire an illegal migrant. ICE penalizes businesses with a few million per illegal found working in the business.

10:05 it is, at every job two things they always ask for birth certificate or ssn card to even get a job, then driver's license or ID you usually need 2 things of identificaiton , if are you visa worker they have different paperwork. Without those things it's illegal cause there is no way to track that person's taxes as they have no citizen identity.

I think the political point is that one side calls it illegal immigration because of the current administration’s policy that allows people to come into the country without the vetting of the older process. They are allowed in, given documentation, and some cities are even trying to give the, the right to vote. We house them, pay them, allow them to go to hospitals and schools. The debate is the stress it is causing on the system in such an abrupt manner. So, they get green cards and can apply for the job legally. But fact check me on this.
