I'm pretty sure the person underwater is Soobin and not Taehyun. Which makes way more sense because Taehyun is fixated on flying the whole time (parrot/eagle) while Soobin is obsessed with water the whole video. Soobin is a mantis though, so I thought that was weird, but it turns out some mantis can swim? and also there is a parasitic worm that causes mantises to go into the water and d-word....

Also I find it interesting how Beomgyu seemed to be the only one really noticing something amiss while the others are entranced by their temptations. He at several points looks concerned, and the scene with him reaching out seemingly into/out of a cave, looks like he's reaching out to Soobin, who we then see being basically submerged in the water. And the only time we hear that extra noise (that you pointed out as Tinnitus) was when Beomgyu was clutching his head against the butterflies.
When you said that it seemed like beomgyu looks like he was reaching out to Soobin it kinda reminded me of Can't You See Me in the choreography yeonjun and soobin say "Save Me"

maybe the ringing “tinnitus” was heard when beomgyu was shown because the camera was in soobins pov and he couldn’t hear beomgyu’s warning because the ringing was too loud (connecting to soobin’s “pain” his ears)

I feel like in this MV, beomgyu seems to be alone most of the time just like when he was in drama (at the beginning of the vid, he landed way far from the others and in the pond scene, he's the only one not there but is being chased by the butterflies). I also feel like soobin knew something was up with beomgyu or had something to do with beomgyu (just like the eternally music video or can't you see me, I feel like he knew something was up), as he could be seen as if he's pulling beomgyu out of the little water pocket, idk I just feel there's something tied between soobin and beomgyu 😭😭
I think the MV is supposed to have all of their representative animals. You saw Beomgyu's butterflies, Kai's leopard gecko and Taehyun had a falcon (his animal is supposed to be a parrot). But also soobin has a praying mantis and yeonjun has a caterpillar (his animal is a pupae) crawling near the flowers they reach for. So three of them have exactly their representative animals, and the other two have animals similar to theirs.
i wonder if the reason Kai looks back at us all the time is cause he senses the "the devil" is doing something. cause hes kinda like an angel, and hes the innocent one, who is kind of naive(like in cant you see me), so maybe he can sense the evil lurching. He always looks back whenever something to do with evil is around from what i can remember. In this he also seems more tired then the rest, hes seems to be laying down a lot and looking at things as if hes in a daze(the only other scenes of kai are when he seems to be "tempted"). he was also shown sleeping at one scene. Kais "get away" part also made me think hes telling the devil to stop? he says it twice in both sugar rush-ush parts, and it caught my attention (it may just be to fill up an empty spot in the song and that's it but i thought it was worth noting).
for Soobin maybe it connects to him always feeling pressured and pulled down maybe? ( i cant really tell). I noticed that there was a scene with him staring at a grasshopper like in the very first teaser things. throughout the whole MV he kept looking at the water, sitting on the rock messing with ocean water, he looked at a puddle, laid in the river, and also seemed to be drowning at the end. every scene hes in involves water in some way unless its group choreo parts for the most part.
In this Beomgyu also caught my attention because he was of course in a cave like the Freeze mv. he was covering his ears as if the butterflies were making noises, which i thought maybe he could feel guilty for something, and he keeps hearing ringing in his ears from it? the butterflies didn't seem to affect him at first, but slowly it seemed to have gotten worse, to where hes reaching for help to be pulled out. he seemed the most alert of whats going on, he seemed worried ever since the beginning, which makes me think he knew something was wrong with the island. his expressions also looked more sinister to me, he had a crazy smile when they were sitting then glared at Taehyun, but maybe its just cause hes good at acting.
Teahyuns I didn't understand, he seemed to be looking at the sky, flying, seeing flying animals but i don't know how that connects. he seemed to be lost in some scenes as well as he ran through the woods.
and then Yeonjun in this, in all honesty, I'm lost, he was the first one to have that glitch affect on their faces, maybe meaning he was tempted first by the island's charms?
both Yeonjun's and Taehyun's I didn't understand very well but these are just things i noted down while watching it (in short im still very confused and all my stuff stated here is just from what i remember from old MV's and your analysis's so im missing a lot of facts im sure) :)

A few details I've noticed is that in the choreography, Beomgyu and Kai are the only one's in the chorus that have the okay sign almost horizontal going down. Does that have any specific meaning or does it simply represent that maybe something's not right, they don't know?
Additionally, in the Inkigayo stage, those two are also the only ones with black on their clothing, Beomgyu with a full black shirt and Kai with a partly black shirt. Normally, I would consider this a simple styling choice, but combined with all the other factors, I find it hard to call this coincidence.
To me, they all fell to the devil's temptation at different times...starting with Kai (not too sure about him actually, as compared to the others, he seems to be more tired than anything, but he also comes across his representative animal first, the gecko) --> Yeonjun --> Soobin --> Taehyun and then Beomgyu, who seems to resist the temptation the most and even seems to be running away from something, alone. When Taehyun is being pulled by Yeonjun in the choreography after just having fallen to the temptation (which in my opinion, is when the flashes of the tree appears in the MV and he starts floating, like he's partaken of some sort of power to help him fly), it almost feels like Yeonjun is trying to pull him further in? I'm a little unsure about this and frankly, these are just my personal thoughts as someone who isn't a complete expert on the TXT universe (I'm also not up to date on Star Seekers so bear with me)
Another thing that I noticed was the choreography in Devil by the Window how Taehyun, Soobin and Yeonjun all mention flying (or are flying in the case of Yeonjun) in the ending part, whilst Kai almost appears to fall unconscious, as though he has been discarded, or is falling asleep again (which seems to relate to how tired and asleep he seems to be in the MV) whilst mentioning the devil's words again. This to me signifies that Taehyun, Soobin and Yeonjun are all completely taken with the temptation offered by the devil. But Beomgyu is the only one without a line in this specific part, only repeating "Devil, de-devil devil" before that almost like a warning? He also seems to control Yeonjun in the instance, lifting him up... I'm not too sure about the meaning behind it but I find Beomgyu's part in this to be the most interesting, with Kai following since it feels like there are so many contradictions occurring on the surface level.
I'm sure there are other things in the lyrics of the songs themselves which can be analysed but I'm not quite there yet. These are just my personal thoughts though so I feel like they are taking a slightly darker twist on some things so feel free to give me your opinions on these. I tend to be a fan of darker concepts, especially when it comes to my bias, Beomgyu so I'm sure there are a number of things I've overlooked in an attempt to try and make things make sense for my own theories lol.
As a side note though, when Kai sings "Come here, come here, goodnight" it reminds me of the Blue Orangeade choreography and lyrics in this particular instance. He also seems to always be relating to themes of sleeping... I can't quite put all of this together very well yet, but I'll be catching up on Star Seekers and rewatching some MVs so hopefully things will start to make more sense.

kai- chameleon means a person who can see from a variety of perspectives
taehyun- eagles encourage a person to look and study more
beomgyu- butterflies means you're in the process of growing up
yeonjun- worm is being able to believe in renewal instead of giving one's self over to the bleak, blackness of a darkened void
soobin- mantis means patience and further, waiting for the exact time to step forward or speak

When you talked about the lyrics "You opened my locked door so easily" I remembered what the cat said to Eugene when they made a deal it was telling him that all that the cat was doing was opening the closed door that Eugene had within him all along it was on episode 12 (at least in the webtoon)

Actually that makes a lot of sense since not just the train said promise, but the lyrics of every song in the temptation album consisted of the word promise, even Yeonjun’s whispering had the word promise

Idk if you noticed this but at the start of the mv when we see the water droplets falling from the sky, and we pause, we can see the train wreck but we can notice on the sides that it’s written “promise” as well as the numbers 304. just wanted to know if this ties with all the lore or more what could it mean?
Promise is yeonjun’s true name and also strongly related to their promise to the star! 304 is a reference to their debut!

I saw someone make a connection with tae and soobin in this video because they were pretty much opposite in the video and some frames match but show different scenes.
Soobin is seen looking down into water while Tae is seen looking up into the sky.
Soobin’s zoomed out underwater shot parallels Tae‘s zoomed out floating scene.
I thought that was an interesting connection seeing as Tae and Soobin have been previously connected before in Can’t you see me

Idk if it's connected, but it seems that in beomgyu's scene where butterflies are chasing him, he is experiencing tinnitus. There is a high-pitched sound that is missing from the audio! It's more interesting that the 4th track is called tinnitus 👀

Y'all noticed their question film representative animals in the MV? There was a caterpillar next to the flower Yeonjun is tempted by, a grasshopper next to Soobin's flower, there was a gecko in Hyuka's hand (changing colors), butterflies everywhere with Beomgyu (around him, his rings, the distorted colors took the form of a butterfly), and Taehyun was surrounded by feathers. (Idk if there was a parot)

So I think the stuff in Yeonjun's hand is like ambrosia, since it's meant to be addictive and sweet so indicating that they can't stop. Also reminds me of the potions in the webtoon where the potions are meant to be addictive. And I also think the uwu hand movement is meant to coincide with the gimme more lyrics, cuz it's like they're begging to get more so they're acting cute ( or going out of their way to act desirable) so as to get more.
Idk but that's what i think is going on for those moments.

With the way poor Beomgyu is terorrized here, no wonder he wanted to burn down Magic Island, always wondered since back then why you'd want to deliberately throw a burning lantern into vegetation, when it was considered like a safe space to turn to by the boys. Sometimes I feel like the storyline is going backwards, which would make rewinding the time as they sing connected. I mean Taehyun has already magic in Run Away but gets the book only later in Frost? But maybe it's just one of them going backward to fix stuff kinda like Jin in BU? Most likely Beomgyu as he was the one filming and observing himself, and also his name Hope fits. But I'm still confused.
Also, after the second chorus in their close up shots, Soobin was the only one with wet hair

@@LainaSunflower right, it might have been too dangerous to include an eagle (falcon or whatever bird of prey) in the questioning films, so the parrot stands for bird. I think the bird in general stands for another kind of perspective, more like a whole picture than detail, as his real name is Clue I think it might be his part to figure it all out after collecting all the clues from the others?
PD Bang said he was inspired by The Promised Neverland (manga) to write Enhypen's characters backgrounds in orphanage. Now we see TXT doing a Neverland theme and they have a part that sounds VERY similar to Drunk Dazed in Sugar Rush Ride. Coincidence? I think not. Also the rain at the beginning is very obviously black water???

What if soobin being in the water has to do with him being addicted to black water? In the webtoon, we know that the dragon sect gave the boys little tubes with black water to use for energy because they have schedules to go to after training. They use it to not become tired so easily so they can get through the day. With soobin, being that he is an elf, instead of earning any causalities when he uses his magic (his visions) he transforms right after. We also know that if he doesn't transform , he could die. What if he starts to drink more black water after his visions to kind of make sure that he transforms every time? I mean we did see that in the frost MV, he was having a vision of a building burning down. I feel like the more black water you use, the more "black" or dark your powers become and Frost is basically a movie for all of their bad endings where each member ends up struggling by themselves so I feel like maybe either he or yeonjun might become addicted to black water. We did see that yeonjun was obsessed with the "sugar rush" the most in this mv.

I did wonder if the water they keep looking at could be a reference to the black water...even though it isn't black....however that might be a stretch just because I am in the middle of trying to catch up on the web novel at the moment and thinking about it a lot. I did remember that Beomgyu's representative animal was butterflies from the questioning videos and so looked up the others and realized they were there.
I don' know if this is relevant but you can hear Kai trying to warn them to "Get away" in the song. At first it is feint at 1:14 and then at the end it gets loud at 2:23 (timestamp).
Is it just me or is anyone else reminded of blackwater ....even while reading the webtoon the blackwater does not feel like it's a good thing and with the way they consume it the first time it feels like it's like a drug they knew it was bad but one taste and they just keep wanting more.....again it could be just me ......also blackwater also kinda opens closed doors for them .....like the lyrics

If I’m not wrong (which I probably am) technically this MV isn’t considered a “StarSeekers MV” cause it would have had the SS ending after the MV…right? But I’m assuming cause there are little details that connect into the storyline it’s like CYSM or something like that, where it doesn’t give a detect part of the story in the music video.
Anyways, i noticed that the (what I assume to be an island) that they are on (magic island?) doesn’t have Magic islands purple flowers or green grass or many flowers as seen in other MVs like Frost, Magic island, and Nap of a star just to name some. Could the place they are still be Magic island, but after it burned(Magic island MV)? Idk just a thought. Again I’m probably over thinking…

Ehm Hey. In this mv I found two moments that I wanted to share here....
1. At the beginning of this Mv, Yeonjun runs past Taehyun and grabs his hand right as he runs and pulls him along
2. In the dance part where the focus is on Taehyun, you can see that Yeonjun is pulling him.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Taehyun saw Yeonjun die in the Eternally MV and the animation film, but unfortunately I don't know any other reason. Maybe someone has an idea what it means.
i just had a thought that since the logo is at the end, the story instead starts at the end. like it was narrated backwards. it first shows that they are tempted and then slowly breaking out of that temptation thus they were passed out at the start of the mv like what happened to them at the end of magic island. they broke free from the temptation. idk just a little thought HAHAHAHA
I think this mv shows us the timeline where they first step to magic island with the temptation of an odd-eye cat. So, peter Pan seems to be the representation of the cat because peter Pan tempted the kids by the window. But in leaving neverland, it sems like they can accept that they've become adults and leave their childhood memories opposite to blue hour, maybe different timelines? Pov- I didn't notice the train until you said, although I've watched it many times.

And the part where the background changes kind of looks like the nightmare concept picture where he had a mirror behind him

One of the things I wonder about their storyline is how many times did they go to magic island? are these different dimensions/universes or is it all in the same one but at different times? Also, I was going to say that we NEED an explanation video with all the new stuff from the web novel and the webtoon, basically the same as the one you did updating ENHYPEN's lore which is an awesome video btw🤍 Thank you always for your hard work Laina!

In the first scene with of the falling rain droplets, it seems there is a face in the main raindrop but I can't completely make it out.
One more thing that I noticed. Sugar Rush Ride is exactly 3:33 minutes long (actually yt kind of shows it as 3:33 but the video if u click it is 3:32). And 333 are the angle numbers, right? That is kind of weird as the whole song is basically about a "devil". I'm not sure if this was intentional or not but thought of saying you about it.
THESE ARE MY OPINIONS:
When I read the "Peter and Wendy" book it said their that a cave belonged to Michael (the youngest of the Darlings)...
Their skins are glistening because in the book after they were playing at the lagoon, they layed on the Marooner's Rock while Wendy is looking at the boys their skin were glistening under the sun...
There was a part in the MV where Yeonjun seemed to have something liquid on his hands and I believe it is like a juice that oozes out of trees...
Their appearances are much like in the book when Mrs. Darling saw Peter that he clad with skeleton leaves and the juices that oozes out of trees...
That bird that reflected on taehyun's seem like to me is the Never Bird that helped Peter in the story...
Peter first lived in the Kingston Gardens... and there he forgot how to fly because he lost faith... the bird said that birds can fly and we can't because they have faith in their wing and we don't so I think that is why Taehyun can fly...
They are dancing in front of the entrance of their under ground home...
I personally like the anti-drop but I honestly feel like the purpose is better achieved if you don't like it. You know, there are moments when you feel empty after your mind is done going on trips. You don't feel good about it. That is what this particular anti-drop is actually supposed to be. It isn't supposed to make you feel good, rather it's supposed to make you feel underwhelmed. This is why I actually like it when critics say that they loved the pre-chorus but didn't like the anti-drop. The song doesn't like the anti-drop either. But when you get addicted to a drug and feel empty and numb after a trippy episode, you end up wanting another dose of the drug to make you feel great again. This is why the lyrics in the anti-drop are specifically "gimme gimme more", if you think about it you expected something more from the chorus but you didn't get it so have to do the uwu pose for it. Doing the uwu pose means you know what you are asking for is shameful lol. Also this isn't the first time TXT has sung about doing drugs and wanting to escape responsibility, they have done that in Poppin' Star and CWJLTMA too. On a farther note, I think they also had the same effect with Roller Coaster.
I don’t know why but the lyrics of this song reminds me of drunk-dazed (enhypen), blood sweat and tears (bts) and apple (gfriend), all of them talk about temptation, a devil and sweet things…. Also the MV of all of this song have people kind of drunk or under a spell.

I honestly think Tinnitus is an embarrassingly funny fun song to listen to. I get that technically they are singing about the emptiness they feel after a VERY high trippy trip to heaven. Yeonjun's 'yeah yeah buzzing sound wing' sounds like he's trying to be energetic but failing to do so because of aftereffects and exhaustion. The aftereffects include heavy ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and feeling like a rock after experiencing hallucinations of being a rockstar. I love the song but it's embarrassed me especially when I heard Yeonjun's 'wing' and 'i'm just a rock'. Afterwards the aftereffects wear off too and they realize they need to quit taking the trippy stuff so they decide to leave their heaven called Neverland because there is no eternity in reality.
With the logo at the end should we watch the mv in reverse and that gives a different story maybe? Idk if it makes any sense just a thought.

This is probably stupid, but what do the numbers in the top right corner at the start of all their MVs mean? Sugar Rush Ride has a yellow circle with 12 in it, as does Frost, 0×1=lovesong (Mod Sun ver), loser=lover, GBGB, Blue hour (Japanese), and the Chaos Chpt. Freeze concept trailer.
We lost the Summer, Runaway, Nap of a Star, and Can't you see Me have a Blue circle with 12 in it.
Eternally, Puma, 0×1=lovesong, and Magic Island have a yellow circle with 15 in it.
Magic is the only one I've seen with a yellow circle with 7 in it.
Cat&Dog, Angel or Devil, Drama, Crown, Blue Orangeade, Runaway (Japanese), and the Dream Chpt Magic and Eternity concept trailers all have a green circle with Korean in it (Google translates it as "entire").
