Skidders…….. can be such a pain in the ass. It’s really hard work and the pay just isn’t there. It’s sad really for the hard working people in that line of work. Unfortunately the old cable skidders just don’t get the maintenance and repair they need and then you end up in need of a total overhaul. It’s gonna be one awesome machine when your done, your doing it thoroughly. I’ve just got paint left to do on mine, been a couple years going one end to the other.
It has definitely needed work everywhere I have looked. Hopefully I will have it back together soon. It can be tough finding the time and money for everything, but hoping to have a nice machine in the end.
