Amen. Fasting is not a form of manipulation. Fasting is done to change you/us.
On this fast she did I joined but on RUclips 😊 , I was fasting with them God changed my life I was telling God to remove me from a dangerous rental that had jelous women i prayed please by tomorrow get me a new house with everything I need after 3 day I got a house which had the things I needed inside , I was praying God to use me I started me RUclips channel , God revealed me a family member I loved but who was sending me curses every time she called me on the phone . God revealed to me a lot of money was the last thing spiritual God broke a lot curses that people had put on me . And wow I was asking God for $3000 or $1,000 but God give me $10,000 dollars in Africa this is alot 😢

"Fasting does not move God"!! I needed to see this!! Everytime i try to fast I heard God saying not that way because I am fasting to deny my flesh in hopes of God doing something for me.... but this is for me to get out of HIS way!!! WOW!!! i needed this
I’m glad I watched this video, b/c I didn’t even think of how Jesus only fasted once actually all the people in the Bible (ie Moses, Esther, Elijah) were noted as fasting once!!! But we get the drift it’s about God, it’s about getting out of his way!!!

Hi I’m new here, yesterday I got ready to fast for a day and I came to your video about the 3 day fast. I woke up not feeling hungry although I’m looking at food all day with toddlers making food and giving snacks I have a feeling to make it longer I think the Lord wants me to go longer. I just wanted food no desire of hunger. I’m trying to figure out wether it’s me or not. This is also my first time. Help!

Morgan personally I have noticed on my business and being a Christian in market place if I don’t grow if I fast once year not even once in 3 months , the enmie is after Christian’s work and growth that we can’t afford to fast one a year or even twice , the reason we put hope in fasting is because we are not spending time in hi word and following his guidance , so fasting often is great is amazing

Yea.. I’m conflicted because my friend called me out saying you do all this monthly fasting, but nothing changes, you’re still the same person..and I don’t believe that. I struggle with sexual lust, sexual thoughts, pornography and masterbation and I feel like fasting often keeps me submitted to him.. but it’s not a major fast only from 6a - 1p .. but I’ve only done the Ester fast one time in my life which was this year because of you and it flipped my life upside down.. so I think I’m going to continue doing the Ester fast.. that was the most powerful fast I ever done.
Can I share something with you my dear? Fasting is like a spiritual exterminator. Just like when you have an insect problem, a Raid spray here and there isn't going to cut it. So you hire an exterminator. And that exterminator has to keep coming back until those nasty pests/demons are completely gone. Well, it is the same with fasting. It is a process. Also, I'm a little leary regarding the comment your friend made. It wasn't very nice or encouraging. I pray that God gives you revelation regarding him or her.
PS: I had a painful porn and lust addiction but God. It was a process. But I made it. My spirit is so sensitive that I am now repelled by lust. You will get through this in Jesus's name!

I've felt God speaking to me about that friend as well, and recognizing that the enemy is just trying to bring us down. I've also continued fasting and have seen significant growth. As you mentioned, it's all part of the process of sanctification, and I take comfort in knowing that God is the one who sanctifies us. Even when I stumble, I know I fall into the arms of the Father. Thank you so much for your wise words and support! 🙏☺️

Hi Nikki,
You would pray about what you’re fasting for. Or you could also pray for other people. You could ask God to show you what He wants for your life etc. Healing, forgiveness, more Intimacy with Christ, etc. also sometimes just worshipping and exalting His name. The key is to grow in God, to get closer to Him. Hope this helped!

Why God open door and opportunity for people who fast if fasting is not to move God ?
It’s likely that doors seem to open because our character becomes ready for what God wants to bring us.
Fasting helps us listen, pray and stick closer to God. We may not have prayed the prayers we did or understood the character of the Lord the way we had if not for fasting, where we spend extra time with Him
We’re not motivating or persuading God with fasting,
Gods plans are set: Fasting help set us apart to receive the blessing

Wow Morgan, it’s so encouraging to hear that you take it slow and steady with fasting. Even that you partook in a dry fast just recently!
As I recover from religious OCD I still pray for clarity about what kinds of fasts to partake in and why. Knowing what God wants for you when you haven’t been reading your Word can feel like a war in your mind… I’m still surrendering but like you said I don’t want to make it something that feels like it’s never finished. Please pray that The Lord gives me clarity and peace, I need community ❤

I totally disagree, and I don't believe it's a such thing that we can go overboard fasting...fasting is a preventative method...we can fast everyday for life if we want...as long as it is not done in vain...ALSO, we don't know exactly how many times JESUS fasted...he could've done 40, 40 day fast for all we know...so please be mindful of saying JESUS only fasted one time...only 1 time was written and documented...and that's the fast I believe that really took off his ministry...but that doesn't mean he only fasted one time...other than that GOD BLESS
Hello, Sister in Christ. I think you misunderstood her point. I almost went overboard with fasting and got sick. The Lord warned me beforehand by taking me to a scripture. Saul callled a fast not approved by God, and it caused trouble (1 Sam 14). I know others who were hospitalized. She is merely saying be led by God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. When God tells you to fast, He is going to give you the grace to do so. God is not trying to kill or harm you. That is the enemy. I hope what I said makes sense. Blessings.
