Ivy breaks my heart with her soulful bray. She’s so skinny and none of us knew she was pregnant so, she never got to put on extra weight. Now she’s got to do double time with her calories. Ivan is in the best hands possible with PawPaw. He will love and fatten up that boy. Everyone crowding around Ivan when he first arrived was an incredible moment! Ivy and Ivan will be okay ... thank you Morrow’s!
Came across this again, Gosh Ivan was so little. Loved the shot of everybody staring at Ivan, I had the thought, little did they know they were looking at their leader/protector.
I remember that. Paw Paw REALLY spoiled Ivan, and STILL does!! He truly fell in love with that adorable little donkey!! When Ivan was so terribly sick, Paw Paw did everything in his power to save Ivan. There sure were a LOT of prayers for Ivan AND Paw Paw. He still says that it was all of our prayers for Ivan's recovery, that he survived. I totally agree!!!
I understand why this has to be done but it’s so heartbreaking. I pray she recovers quickly and they can be reunited soon. She has already proven she’s one tough girl.
I agree, she waited so long to be a mama. I think being pregnant itself took a lot out of her at her age and then low milk and trying to feed Ivan made it worse! Hopefully she will dry up milk quickly. And gain her health
My heart hurts for Ivy as a mom. I know it’s whats best but I’m scared she might go into a depression and get worse. I’m praying they’ll both be ok. I so love Ivy. ♥️

My heart breaks to hears both of them cry. It's hard to see them both cry for each other. Even before I'm almost positive she had a baby and lost it in the woods somehow. That's probably why she had it in the barn this time. Hopefully with time all will get better and they can be together again. Will be praying for them both. God Bless.

Oh how this breaks my heart. I know it had to be done. I can totally relate to how Ivy must feel though. When I had my youngest son I had to leave him at the hospital because he was born with a small hole in his lung. That was a really hard time for me too. Love and hugs to Ivan and Ivy. 😢❤️
Unfortunately that would only make things worse. I have horses and when we wean a foal, things go much better if that can't see each other. If you let them see each other they won't stop calling to each other and the mom will literally run all her weight off trying to get to her baby. What Lester is doing is the best thing for Ivy right now!
I had tears coming my face, but I know Ivy is in good hands. Lester it does applies to humans a little, when a mom gets post postpartum depression and she can't take care of her baby, sometimes a relative will take care of the baby, while mom gets better. It is just sad she wanted a baby so badly and she got the baby. Now she probably feels like she lost her baby again. I know you guys doing what is best for her and Ivan. Please guys don't give him away, even if he stays with paw paw that will be awesome. Ivy is such a wonderful mom and she will get her weight back on and Ivan will put some weight on as well. Wow I can't believe how emotional I get watching your babies. I been following you guys a while now and know a lot about the fur and feather babies. I always respect what you share with us. Lester, I absolutely love your family and how you all support each other. I also think paw paw might be right, about Ivy miscarried the first time when Ima Jean had her baby. If you guys noticed they both give birth a few weeks apart this time around. Thanks LE for the update on Ivy and paw paw is the animal whisperer. He have such good connection with his animals and I know he will take care of Ivan. You guys are a wonderful family. ❤

I applaud yalls decision 110% I raise horses and have atleast 7 new foals born every year (registered & sold to show homes) and have alot of experience with equines in general. I also work full time as a veterinarian technician. Had yall not pulled him from Ivy he would have never thrived and slowly died. I've seen it before with other facilities. This is for the best and it give him and Ivy a chance to get healthy and thrive again. Love what yall do - From a Floridian 🤠

Maybe Ivy can be put in a stall with continuous Timothy hay and grain 3 times a day. Poor thing. And poor Ivan...praying he gets what he needs at PawPaws 🙏🏻

I'm sure she'll be well loved. I felt that, too, but she was so upset, it doesn't seem like it would have been safe at that time for LE to hug her.
