  • Our 'Voices of adopted people: Messages for change' conference took place on Monday 18 October during National Adoption Week 2021 and was a huge success, with 200 people attending on the day.
During the event we premiered our brand new 'Adopted for life' short film, that you can watch within this video and as a separate video on our PAC-UK RUclips channel.
Within the video you will also see a presentation from our Adopteens Project - their 'Adopteens Timeline' animation can also be viewed as a separate video on our PAC-UK RUclips channel.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this conference; co-hosts, presenters, attendees and those who worked hard behind the scenes.
A huge, huge thank you to our incredible Adopteens Project members who shared their personal experiences in our 'Adopted for life' short film.
PAC-UK's specialist counselling service provides support for adults adopted as children, and for adults otherwise permanently placed as children. We also offer access to adoption records, searching and intermediary services.
Our PAC-UK Advice Line can provide you with more information on services you can access in your region and associated fees where applicable.

Brilliant and about time. I was adopted from the UK at 5 then moved to Australia at 8, now 42. I've never settled anywhere and I'd love to share my story with others.

Brilliant I found this very informative. I'm a 49year old adoptee and only in the last 2 months am aware and coming out of the fog. I have more healing to do.. . This video is a great resource. Thank you So much 🙏🏽❤️😊

Everyone needs a sense of belonging and knowing where they are coming from.

As an adult adoptee, this is wonderful! Our voices must be heard as those who have lived the Adoption experience - we are the experts, we feel the trauma of relinquishment and maternal separation in every cell of our bodies. Thank you for highlighting our #adopteevoices. I wish your organisation had been around to support me when I was growing up. X
