- Hello Designers! 🙂
I'm not the one narrating this video, my bestfriend gave me a hand! Say hello to Ali!
In this video we’re not talking about producing rendered images; we’re taking this to the next level and we’re making a walk-through video of a 3D model.
An Animated Walk-through is very helpful to create when you want to convey a sense of space or explain the circulation of a design to a client or audience.
They also come in handy if you have a digital portfolio (like a personal site) or if you’re selling 3D models online and would like to show off a creation.
Basically knowing how to create a Walk-through video is a very handy skill to acquire because there are so many creative ways to use them.
If you would like to know all the different ways you can use an Animated Walk-through, leave a comment below.
Happy Designing 🙂

Thank you so much
You're very welcome :)
Animation time kese kam kare... quality low krkee?
Cool! Are there plugins to automate some of the manual steps e.g. placing and positioning the camera and it's settings?
One alternative that wouldn't take 1000 years to render is rendering each step as a photosphere / cubemap like some virtual tours appear on real estate websites. The user would have 360 degree freedom to look around at each anchor point. web-based virtual tour software quality seems a bit hit-and-miss though!
Hello there :)
Yes, there are a few plugins that can shorten the setup process like a plugin that would copy your anchor point along a path you draw, and there's also the Animator plugin by fredo6 whoch allows you to create an animation of moving objects
I'm not aware of plugins that would copy your camera placements, tried searching but couldn't find any 😅
And yes, rendering an animation in 360 would take a very long time, which is a shame.
Some other "rendering" softwares like Lumion and Twinmotion have a better ability to produce walkthrough animations in lesser time, but they're still taxing to a machine.
Please make video on how to make video from these render pics
Sure :)
I use SketchUp 2017 & V-Ray 3.4.0, after adding the scenes, then to V-Ray full animation, after clicking "render" It is still rendering at 1 image only, I don't see any image changing in sequence. I've selected low resolution, low quality, etc. I see the render of the 1st image happen quickly. But why is there not any 2nd & so on images. After clicking "Stop Render" the 1st image is saved in the the specified folder.
Did you set up your scenes in Sketchup properly? As in the Transitions and Scene Delay?
Thank you sooooooooo soooooo sooooo much for this, you've really helped with my coursework as I had to create an exhibition, such a well explained video I really recommend 😊
Glad we could help :) Thank you so much for stopping by!
Can you please make a tutorial on working of a furniture (animation).
This video was super helpful 👍🏼👌
Do you mean like animated furniture?
Glad this video has helped :)
@@Ravenors.academy Yes, It'll be really helpful.
Thanks a lot ☺️🌈
@@happyspace2430 sure! You're very welcome!
@@Ravenors.academy yes sir please make a video on putting and moving furniture animation ... Which will be rendered ... This will really help ... And thank you so much sir ... Also sir can you please tell me your systems configuration....
Thank you in advance😊💝🙌🏻
i just learn the way you presant ur 3d project ,navigation style.
Nice!
any other software to do the same but with less time consuming and fast process?
Lumion would be a good alternative 👌🏻
Sir i have a problem with rendering an image, it's pixelated when i zoom it in, what may be the problem sir? Is it my laptop or it's on settings? Thank u sir
increase the output size
Lumion or Vray for exterior video animation renders? *from SketchUp model
It really depends on your hardware and skills in both VRay and Lumion
can skp 2016 do that sir?
Yes it can :)
You are so funny😆
Thank you ✌🏻😂
1. do you have a video how to edit the vray animation after i.e in imovie.
2. when im eiditng my animations zoom in and out ?
1. I can put up a video on editing animations, sure :)
2. Can you message me on any social media platform so I can help you better? The links are in the description of every video :)
@@Ravenors.academy I will dm you on instagram thank you so much ! I hope your channel grows much more you are underrated!
Omg thank you so much! This means the world to me, really :)
Hi I rendered my animation however it couldn't save it as a video. It saved as a picture? Why?
it saves as pictures . all those pictures are run in adobe premiere pro to make video ..
@@sammy-xs2my can you show that too please ?
Is this really the state of the art in sketchup? There are no camera paths? (or can you not link a camera to a path?) Same question for camera look at targets. And I guess no ease in/out controls for camera angle or speed along it's path? I'd be impressed if this was 1992 but 30 years on, shouldn't this be more advanced? I'm not criticizing the content here, rather Trimble seems to have dropped the ball on this one.
Unfortunately, yes. There might be a plugin that I'm unaware of that makes this process easier, but when it comes to native Sketchup tools this is the best Trimble has :(
Unless you invest in AR equipment and use Sketchup's AR app of course (which costs more money smh).
What are your pc spec's sir?
I have an Hp Pavilion Laptop
Intel i7 @ 2.8 GHz
16 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 8600M Series
Nothing high-end 😅
@@Ravenors.academy thanks for making this videos...
It made me sad because i only can use it for still image presentation. Video animation feels like a nightmare, especially if you're on tight schedule.
True :(
After rendering it still in jpg formats
Yes, these are the frames that you add to a video editor and create a video :)
Hello ..! I loved the video.., and i tried to make also.. when i rendered it .. images got downloaded.. how to make it a video
You can use a video app to combine all of them
@@Ravenors.academy ohh so it doesn’t save as a video.. as before render we export and save a video..
@@Ravenors.academy can you recommend the app for these high Quality images. Like for 1 room i have got 840 images
You can use Camtasia, Filmora, or Microsoft Clipchamp :)
@@Ravenors.academy okay cool and any settings in that?? To make the video like for each image how many seconds?
Try enscape
Enscape is great for walkthroughs yes :) there are others out there, too!
First comment!
Bro 💚Link to download work files ✔to apply a lesson 👍✔with you step by step and support 💙 and followed 💖
So after 7 hours you got just a zoom effect in a still image 😂😂
Exactly 😂😂 you can still get creative with it tho!
Someone in the community made a whole 15 second video using this feature, they just got creative with the editing and sound effects :)
7 HOURS FOR THAT? 😅
Rendering duration is ruthless sometimes.
WORD.
why you make blurr video...verall gd but in blur..
I didn't understand what you mean?
@@Ravenors.academy its only image rendering in time conuming, but not an animated video...How vray animation created..its only img in bulk...
VRay renders frames that you can import into a video editor to create a video :)
I want to learn how to do the walkthrough video
very easy but rendering really take time
click in this link . this guy will teach u how to do.....super easy to understand
@@cassidykenneth316 waiting for the link🤔
Where is the rendered walkthrough.... This is just an animated view.... This is very disappointing in vray
A complete rendered walkthrough would take ages to produce, that's why in the end I said my verdict is that vray is not the best way to produce an animated video.
You mean vray is just we can make rendered frame view....this is not best to make a rendered walkthrough
Exactly
Actually disappointed in Vray, since they still use this dumb slow method. Fully agree, it's the most time consuming process. Enscape literally knocked them all out of the park. It's still really good for a simple image, just not a walk through animation
Agree with you there :( it's a shame. But hey, VRay 5 has some major changes so hopefully they address this issue in future releases.
