Can you recommend any new affordable communities in or around DS besides Belterra, Headwaters, or Breakwater? Austin prices have sky rocketed and DS seems to be a viable option. We are interested in a high quality new build home with less than 2,500 square feet in size
Thanks Tom. Yes, it's nuts out there right now. The best options in this crazy competitive market are new builds so buying land in Dripping Springs and building your own property isan option. Wimberly is another beautiful place to be and Leander, although a bit further out has a train line direct to downtown so my belief is that it will keep the Austin culture alive and thriving. Happy to jump on a call if you'd like to discuss further. Take care! 512-988-1741
Hi Tom- It's one of the developments that has the greatest landmass per home and the site is really beautiful. The location is prime when it comes to getting to all the amenities you need. And their amenity center looks like it offers a lot. As for long-term investment, you'll often get a better return on investment in neighborhoods that are in an upward transition. So, the smaller neighborhoods with older homes where the families have grown, kids have moved out and the homes are being upgraded by the younger families coming in, will often do better as a long-term investment. As long as you plan on upgrading the existing home that is. Happy to jump on a call if you'd like to discuss further. Feel free to email or call me to set up a time if you'd like to do a deeper dive! 512-988-1741 / natasha.antonioni@gmail.com
@@NatashaAntonioni what makes things challenging at the moment and probably for the unforseeable future is that bidding on older is a losing proposition if you continually lose out in bidding wars. A new build on the other hand comes move in ready, is often cheaper, and still appreciates while under construction. It doesn’t look like there’s much interest in this community from what I can see. How is the condo market going for you atm?
@@terraGaliciaXXIV All markets are moving right along right now so condos are the same but there are variables so it just depends on the type of product.
