@@matt13ross Quick question, out of curiosity. Did you figured out how they got into your account? This is truly a catastrophic nightmare scenario, I had clients that had their FB/IG hacked and their livelihood depended on it. Google, FB/IG are typically useless when looking for support.

So sorry to hear about your Google account being hacked. I’m assuming the only way you were actually sble to contact them is because of your YT creator account. I contribute on Google as a guide and any attempts to contact them are dead ends. I share that frustration. I hope there was no additional damages beyond what you’ve shared in this video. Great to see your progress with this beauty. Your footage looks great. I’m more into the photography side of things than video, however, I’ve seen only good things about your new camera. So sorry to hear about the hack, that’s horrible. To eliminate the lens flare on the new camera you need to make a small short cover for the top so the light from the garage doesn’t skew the picture. Other than that the new camera is awesome! The 996 is looking Killer!

Nice choice with DJI. Audio is good, the camera needs some tweaks to get rid of the rolling shutter look. Sucks about you being hacked. Looks like you set up the multi-factor authentication and they still got you.

quick question. Do you ever use a torque wrench? Never noticed if you use it in any of the last videos.
If your Google password doesn't look something like this..... JAOI32#*pyd9u*ledndf8&8HD3w m2fayd3we67a0yYS2s2!.....then you're doing it wrong. And NEVER respond to anything asking for a code. AND TURN ON TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION ON EVERYTHING!!!! Finally, keep a password log...OFFLINE AND PRINTED. Update it as needed. The password log exists on a USB drive, not on your hard drive...or you're doing it wrong there, too.
I had two factor. They hacked that too!
@@matt13ross Is your 2FA an email account? If so, they probably compromised your single email, and then just got access that way. (p.s I work on zero trust systems for my job ;) )

Anti seize on spark plugs screws up the torque spec

I actually really like these wheels. I'd have them refinished--nardo grey (or another color) and have all the spoke faces diamond cut befor clearcoating.

I have the Osmo as well. It’s mediocre in low light and always seems to have a weird lens’s flare when lighting isn’t perfect. Outdoor day recording is amazing however.
Is it the 3? The 3 has a brand new 1" sensor that's pretty darn good in low light.
Come on Matt!!! What a silly comment is: I cannot imagine doing a V6 or V8 with this layout. Seriously????? Porsche only makes flat piston engines in the rear… which is the 911. There is no V6 or V8 layout in rear engine Porsches.
Definitely makes me not want to have everything linked to Google…

Do you discover how you were hacked? It seems like you might have done the right things, adding 3-Factor etc.
Matt you need to put copper grease on the spark plug threads, and especially the torque tightening, we often had to repair the thread in the cylinder head after tightening too hard without grease on these Porsche engines

Not trying to argue whatsoever, but I would advise to not put copper grease on the spark plug threads. Porsche themselves have said don't put anti seize on the threads. Maybe just a little bit of oil, maybe.

Really sorry about the hack. Those people should face much higher penalties, but it seems that they never face anything and the damage they do can be really significant. Glad you were able to recover and get mostly restored. New camera looks great too. Keep the content rolling!

As a hacker who hates bad hackers i felt attack at the beginning. But all is good. Its not a matter of if its a matter of when you get hacked. I got hacked it takes a while, to get things back.
