As a 58 year old professional who was just laid off, I cannot recommend this enough. I have a lifetime of accomplishments, positive feedback, quantifiable results, and kudos from colleagues. I can't tell you how much I regret not having taken the time to capture this information into somekind of centralized place. Please take her advice🙏

Don’t know how this ended up on my main page but I am glad it did. It is the first time I have heard of it and I think it is a great idea! Thanks for sharing it!

I'm back in school right now and I'm keeping a bullet journal to remember everything, including "post mortem" of all the school projects I'm doing, which I think relates well to this career journal (what I did, what I wanted to do but didn't have time, my feelings overall and about my grade, etc.). I'll definitely have to keep track of the submissions and interviews eventually, so I'll bookmark this video to come back to it!

And track down for yourself how you feel about things too, because that's a good sense of your day-by-day and your true/honest opinions of a place

I wish I saw this video days ago. I was hired on 7/26 and was let go 9/11.
I have a phone interview with the Union to ask me in full details what had taken place for me to being let go.
A journal would have help me refresh my memory of daily encounter with unfair treatment at the work place.

sorry to hear you're going through a rough time. It sounds like a toxic workplace, maybe it's kind of a blessing in disguise and something better is just around the corner

Kokomo23love - I'm so sorry to hear you've lost your job. I've been there, and it's the worst. I'll be praying you land the job you're meant to be in. Don't give up, and yes, document everything.

@@kokomo23love you are most welcome. Outside of documenting things at work, I also have been journaling as a way to relieve stress and anxiety. Writing down your thoughts and feelings can be therapeutic. You might give that a go as well. Blessings!
