I highly recommend going to the store and trying on the shoe in different types of leather. Also, I had to buy 1 size and a half for a perfect fit. Calf and goat skin is softer than Epsom leather. When I think of Epsom leather, I think of salt ( it will rub against your feet and cause irritation) try other leathers. 😍 hope this helps.
Hi Jess, I highly recommended you to try using a foot arch support silicone / gel insert. It's this little thing you stick to the shoe, it goes right under the arch of your foot, so kind of creating that elevated position your foot is in when wearing high heels. You can get it from many different brands in slightly different shapes (Such as from Dr. Foot or Dr. Scholls). I hope it helps you.
Jesssica! How did I not know you had a YT chanel???? I did get the oasis in the gold color and use them so much. Sell yours and get the one with a little heel. Love you so much and happy that you gave people a chance get to know you too! They won’t be disappointed 🥰
Omg!! Hi Thu!!! Thank you for stopping by and watching my videos 😂 That’s great advice since I don’t use the Oran’s anyway lol! And you always look amazing with the pair you have 😍
The oran sandals are very comfortable for me and I have wide feet but I've heard other people saying they're uncomfortable for them also. The oasis sandals are absolutely beautiful too, and I agree with what you're saying about how they could be more comfortable to wear because of the little heel. Enjoyed your review!
Thank you so much for this video, I was literally about to check out with a pair before I sat there and wondered how they would do with wide feet and also how they would LOOK on wide feet. I'm glad I hesitated.
I was thinking of getting a pair. So, of course I came to RUclips to see some reviews. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I just wanted to let you know that I watched another recent video about this slide. That reviewer stated that she had wide feet. She said it was recommended by her SA to go a full and a half size to 2 wholes sizes up. I was just gonna order them off the website. I think I better make that trip to the store. Thanks again and have an awesome weekend 🙋🏾♀️
I have wide feet and have both Oran and Oasis AND the Legend. I would highly recommend for you to look at the Legend (wedge heel with an ankle strap) because they are the most comfortable by far.
I got the ones in nappa leather true to size which are the metallic colours. Very soft leather and doesn’t hurt. I have normal feet on the wider side, neither too narrow nor too wide.
I have them in epsom leather in etoupe and it's comfortable enough for me. I have wide nonchubby feet so I went up a size bigger because my normal size was way too close to the edge of the heel. I would wear these sandals for maybe 5 hours tops before I'll have some discomfort. I do wish the bottom sole has more cushion. But nevertheless, I love them! I put some leather conditioner around the edges and on the epsom leather, but now the edges are brown lol I guess it's fine because the neutral color had watermarks.
Oo this is so interesting! I've always thought i had wider feet but i feel like the strap is too loose on me. I got a pair and walked around the store today but i'm wondering if i should keep them since they feel like they'd fly off my feet if i walked quickly. I'm usually 36 in heels, 36.5 in boots but got these in a 37!
You are so lucky to have normal feet! It’s possible that mine are extra wide? 😂 I blame being raised in Hawaii and having worn rubber slippers all my life.
At the Hermes store they told me that they are not going to stretch a lot so I definitely should not take my regular size if they feel too tight. Went half size up and they are good, have wide feet too!
Hi Jess,i say you might want to try to warm the sandals up perhaps on top of your baseboard heater as this will soften them, and then try stretching them with shoe stretcher, and if doesn’t work out for you, then only thing you can do is next time when shopping for sandals try going up 1 /2 size to 1 size larger if wide size is not available, sorry 😊
Thank you for the great tips! I tried stretching them but not the heating. I can see how heating would be very beneficial! Yes, I love the sandals but will definitely look into getting a bigger size next time :)
That's a great question! Because of the style I feel like the top H part of the shoes really keep your feet in and its honestly so flat that their isn't much slipping at all.
What's funny is I have narrow feet and my foot slides right out the other side. My toes end up hanging over, and yes I purchased my correct size. I wonder how much it has to do with the leather they use, whether the texture creates more flexibility or stiffness.
Wear them around the home with thick socks for a while, I have the exact same pair. Also, I have oasis and another oran in epsom. A bit looser although exact same size. Oran(s) are weird. I have few pairs Iown from 36.5 to 38 and every size in between depending on the leather; calf, ostrich or epsom even lizard or croc differ in size.
@@jesshonolulu my pleasure! Epsom is affordable and I found it very doarable, doesn't crease. Ostrich is so smooth and comfy; soft like butter but shows wear.
I loved your video! i am having the same issue, its unfortunate the high end brands for one reason or another don't have an exchange policy in terms of customer satisfaction. i know a lot of people recommend re-selling, but do you know where?
Omg Yes! It would be great if they would let us exchange the sandals for something else 😅 I haven’t looked into re-selling but probably should. Lol I know a lot of people use poshmak?
Try a shoe stretcher I have one and it is my go-to and you can wind it and it will stretch if you need them stretched spray some water on them but normally leather I think if they are leather ,leather stretches very well thank you for your review I love the shoes you could consider selling them if they don't work I completely understand I've gotten so many things that I'm not happy with especially shoes until you wear them long enough have the same problem with a pair of nice boots I've got at Belk they were too narrow
Great review .I got two Oran in black and browning i agree with you. I went for Stuart’ weitzman Sierra sandals much more comfortable contemporary and one third the price of Hermès still craftmanshift for a reputable Brand 💋
I have a wide feet... of course it is tight and sore the first time...., I have to wear it 4-5 days even inside the house just to stretch it out., leather will stretch and after wearing it for a week... it is comfortable and not sore anymore. Decide to purchase another one in different color.
I thought that just was me that feel pain . Thank you for letting us know so I will try the ones with heels. I am so sad because I want to love this ones and I like it but I wish was comfortable also :(
If you get a chance, read the comments other people have left on this video! So many great tips on buying the right Hermès sandals! Some have said that the one with the heel is also uncomfortable :( and others have mentioned that with the Oran sandals, depending on which leather you get will determine how comfortable they are for wider feet.
Wish this was posted before I went to Harrods to get mine I do regret the 500£ tbh I’m a size 6 uk size and had to her a Hermes😳😳😳😳😳 I k n o W felt like big foot
I'm so glad that I saw your video, as I was looking to purchasing a pair of neutral sandals. These seemed well made but, if I won't wear them because they are uncomfortable...it's not worth it 😕 Love how objective you were in your review...maybe, not all shoes are "one design fits all" 😆.

Wow!! Awesome tips :) Thank you so much for sharing this info!

I tried them on and I anticipated the same reason that you mention so I didn't get it. Thank you and this was very useful info!
Aww so glad it was!

I’m so glad that they work for you! I’m jealous 😂
Thank you so much for this video, I was literally about to check out with a pair before I sat there and wondered how they would do with wide feet and also how they would LOOK on wide feet. I'm glad I hesitated.
So glad you did too! Now you can something else that’s more comfy :)

Oo!! That makes so much sense!! Hmm.. I’m tempted to go into the store to try a larger size on now 😅
I have wide feet and have both Oran and Oasis AND the Legend. I would highly recommend for you to look at the Legend (wedge heel with an ankle strap) because they are the most comfortable by far.
Awesome!! Thank you for the tip! Will def check out the legends :)
I added gel arch support liners and it helped so much
Oo!! I will look into it. Thank you for the tip!
Which ones?
Dr. Scholls Hidden Arch Support for Flats. It’s around 5$
I got the ones in nappa leather true to size which are the metallic colours. Very soft leather and doesn’t hurt. I have normal feet on the wider side, neither too narrow nor too wide.
Good to know! Thank you for sharing :)

This is helpful! Do you have the Chanel sling backs because omg I have the same issues and wanted to know if anyone else experiences that
I don’t have those but always liked them!
At the Hermes store they told me that they are not going to stretch a lot so I definitely should not take my regular size if they feel too tight. Went half size up and they are good, have wide feet too!
Yes! I think if I ever decide to buy it again I will def go up a size.

U shld try the newer version- it doesnt have the two tone which makes it more comfortable
Will do! Thanks!
I agree. I have the same pair and they're not comfortable at all. I had blisters after a day of walking around in it.
I tried so hard to make them work lol too painful!
Can I ask are these shoes slippery? The sole looks so smooth I am curious about this.
That's a great question! Because of the style I feel like the top H part of the shoes really keep your feet in and its honestly so flat that their isn't much slipping at all.
@@jesshonolulu whtat about with the bottom of the shoe? There is no rubber gripping correct.
The oasis sandals hurts the same way. Like you, I don’t reach for them as often even though the style is classic and the craftsmanship is amazing
That’s good to know! Maybe just getting a whole other style would be best 😂
What's funny is I have narrow feet and my foot slides right out the other side. My toes end up hanging over, and yes I purchased my correct size. I wonder how much it has to do with the leather they use, whether the texture creates more flexibility or stiffness.
That's a great question! I believe in some of the comments below some people have mentioned that it does matter on what leather was used.

Perhaps my next sandals will be from Stuart Weitzman :)
I keep hearing great things about them.

I wish I had your determination! They are beautiful sandals.
Are you able to get footglide? It will prevent blistering for new shoes
Just ordered it on Amazon! Thank you for the recommendation!!
I thought that just was me that feel pain . Thank you for letting us know so I will try the ones with heels. I am so sad because I want to love this ones and I like it but I wish was comfortable also :(

I might have to return them they are uncomfortable even with my skinny feet
I’m thinking of finally selling mines!! Return it if you can 👍🏻
I did but I received a credit … even Just trying them on it pushed my bunion to the forefront
The space where the H is the bunion was caused ..the bone that sticks out
I have narrow feet they were perfect in the shoe except the H falls on my foot where the side bone sticks out so it looks like my foot has a bunion
use gel pads where it hurt you most, I got LV and didn't wear it for the same reason, they are uncomfortable
That's a great idea! Will def try some gel pads.
Wish this was posted before I went to Harrods to get mine I do regret the 500£ tbh I’m a size 6 uk size and had to her a Hermes😳😳😳😳😳 I k n o W felt like big foot
I got a size 8
Please Gift me those sandals I have really wanted to own one plus my size is 38
I personally don’t like the shoes either but it has a nice name
I'm so glad that I saw your video, as I was looking to purchasing a pair of neutral sandals. These seemed well made but, if I won't wear them because they are uncomfortable...it's not worth it 😕
Love how objective you were in your review...maybe, not all shoes are "one design fits all" 😆.
Glad it was helpful!! Hopefully you can find another pair of sandals that fit comfortably :)
I literally just filmed a video on my channel about how uncomfortable my Oran Sandals are and I have the exact same ones as you 🥵
One of my worst purchases!! 😩😂
Thanks for sharing!!!!!
