That's why you're seeing Golds using air roll, it's not because they don't have the skills to beat other Golds, it's because if you go for a crazy freestyle and you miss badly, it often turns into a goal against.

If that diamond cared at all about winning he would at least be high C2-C3 without breaking a sweat! I'm C1 and if I started going for these shots consistently in game I'd probably sit at around Plat1. ***I'm not putting them down! It's a game. Have fun! As long as they're not throwing on purpose 🤪😅

Oh no bro, those are definetely not plats. They are intentionally dropped in ranks so they can freestyle without too much interruption because once you get the ball off the ground, plats can't chase it. So their "freestyle rank" might be plat but their actual skill set is at least GC if they play normally. So if they win and rank up, it becomes harder to freestyle and they forfeit immediately once they see the opponent is not allowing them to freestyle and they drop again to lower ranks where they can forcefully make their opponent to sit and watch them. They can't play casual as well because casual ranks are pretty F'd up; there are plats and diamonds with 1750+ mmr and SSLs with 1500- mmr; so it's hard to find a casual lobby where you can showoff.

I played on my smurf in plat recently and usually the players who can flip reset in plat also end up whiffing and double committing the most.
