- @TheBearLinePod is already there. @PaulGallant is close. The two discussed the chances that the Astros will trade key players at the trade deadline, then reacted to what G.M. Dana Brown had to say today on their flagship station. #Astros #HoustonAstros #MLB
Trade Bregman JV & fire Espada …soft rebuild
We need a better manager also
Why is the next video not a continuation of this video?
This is the cycle of baseball. For a decade the Astros have been dominant. ALCS for 7 straight seasons and now they start the 2024 season handcuffed with injuries new coach and piss poor clutch AB’s. Explain how is that on the front office. Players aren’t playing well. Look at the RISP and LOB numbers. Sure they can hit but they can’t drive in RBIs. I suspect that is on Espada & his coaching staff. What we also don’t know is how much autonomy is crane giving Dana Brown? Let’s also talk about the bullpen and how it has been dismal. Astros have had small leads squandered away by Montero Presley and yes Josh Hader. that should count for at least the amount of games. We are behind Seattle. This would be a completely different discussion if some of those small leads, turn into victories Focus on your bullpen trade one to two people where it makes sense to get quality, bullpen upgrades, and perhaps one additional starter... BTW your takes and backhanded compliments on Dana Brown and passive aggressive shots Dusty Baker feel extremely borderline racists. I am not surprised at this, but it is still disappointing to see in the world we live in in 2024.
Trade bregs. Trade JV. Trade Jake. Trade Framber. Extend Tucker immediately. This massively upgrades the farm system while keeping the majority of the young core intact. We'll have cap space to add a FA pitcher or two and should be competitive next year.
Oh yea trade pressley for literally anything.
You trippin
@@sebastiancruz6141 maybe😅
Personally I'd say yes, but realistically they are technically not out of it and Crane isn't going to let them give up when they are technically still in the playoff race. But realistically.. This team is trash. They have a ton of injuries and the guys who are there aren't playing well. If they're 10 games out in late July yes they absolutely should be selling. Trade Bregman for some young players that could help down the line. Move JV for the same. Hopefully some of these players are close to MLB ready and can compete for a job next season. Should have traded Chas after last season, I was saying that during last season as I called it, he was having a career year. He'll never have a season like he did in 23.

SIGN TREVOR BAUER!
Absolutely. I've been watching a lot of YT shorts of him pitching in Mexico and dude looks great. He's kinda funny and he's his own coach on the mound.
Yes they should. The 2022 team was historic. Almost everyone from that team we got still have fallen off a bit and some fallen off alot. Team is starting to go backwards. We need to either sell of some of the guy who have went backwards alot and retool or just completely sell . Because if we don't we gonna suck for years because our farm system is bad
Get Bauer!

One not so good year and we need a garage sale. No keep the core of good players and fix the problems. Quit swinging at so many first pitches and work counts and make pitch count up on opposing pitcher.
Yea Lance Mcullers has post season experience. He gave up 5 home runs in the world series the last time he pitched.
