Sobhan Allah, I don't know, how I bumped into this lecture most needed. I needed this lecture a long time ago. I have the same belief, but couldn't explain it to my wife, because she doesn't follow what I say. She listens to others.
Sadly this is an issue with many. But also sometimes we need to be better leaders and lead by example.

The biggest fitnah today are devices
Agreed. One generation ago it was TV. I mean when the child spends more time with devices than they do being raised by their parents, the device is raising their children more than their parents are. Children need different things at different stages of their development, otherwise they can be lost forever.

The end is very important. It is ok to expect to high things from our children, but if they do not succeed despite putting in their best effort, we need to show that it's appreciated. (Ex. Congratulating a 90% on their test, and not saying "why isn't it 100%. Then we have some who say "why isn't it 105%, there was extra credit")
