    Another excellent video, thank you. Please keep up the good work after the October opening. I'm sure there'll be a by-pass under construction somewhere you can fly your drone over.

      Who knew people were so interested in infrastructure projects. I used to do scenic stuff but nobody watched them. I'll be stuck when this and Dunkettle finish.

      @@MrJohnirwin10 Ringaskiddy maybe , cork - limerick , not a chance . Eamonn Ryan wont stand for it . He knocked the Killeagh & Castlemartyr bypasses on the head .

      @dronehawk thought Cork-Limerick was a priority...and with an active travel plan (rail & greenway in tandem) to keep the greens happy...?
      Apparently if Killeagh, Castlemartyr doesn't go ahead, James O Connor (FF) will walk...that's the word down here anyway.

      There isn't one. Built this way to save money.

      Ye can't be havin luxuries like that in Ireland, schlap it up, be grand, what an atrocious country regarding infrastructure.

      None , there's lay bys every mile or so .

      @dronehawk hope they are flagged on approach, like off ramps. Sh1t will hit the fan when the first accident happens. Granted, cars hit other cars in hard shoulders, but a lack of a hard shoulder multiples the risk. Can't believe that they cut corners

      There should be a slip road at 2:17 to go to and from Kilnamartyra, Renaniree, Ballingeary etc but No when the Roundabout is gone its get off at the Millstreet slip andtravel the old road or go to Ballyvourney and make your way from there. Some have said it was to have less Tractors and forestry trucks on the new road whether thats true is another story

    Who builds a bypass this long with no hard shoulder??

    • @dronehawk
      @dronehawk  Год назад

      It's all to do with cost .Putting in a hard shoulder would be like building it with six lanes instead of 4. The 100 kph speed limit and the low volume of traffic as opposed to the N25 don't justify the cost I'm told.
