If you have wider hips I would suggest size 34. If I would buy them again, I would probably get them in size 34 and shorten them slightly.☺️
I have been looking for an everyday day to night bag but the more I look the more confused I get !!! I like to have the option of carrying bags different ways but my bugbare is that when bags do not have an adjustable crossbody strap. I am 5'7" so wouldnt call that super tall but lots of bags I like just sit too high on my frame which is so annoying. I don't know whether you have heard of the brand KIPLING not high end but extremely good quality, practical, lightweight and they have travel totes and suitcases with good organization so would highly recommend.
Which kind of bags do you like? To be honest, I think that the chanel mini rectangular has a chain that’s slightly too long for me and that’s the reason why I use a small pin to shorten it under the flap (which I showed in the video). It helps me to adjust it for different occasions. But if you like the style with nylon and more durable bag, I would actually suggest the Prada re-edition 2005 re-nylon bag. It is casual and laid back as a day bag but still very chic and classy as an evening bag when you remove the crossbody strap.

I do like the chanel mini rectanglar and have been looking on the preloved market for a good deal (if there is such a thing) and the vintage square flap but I believe the strap is a bit shorter. I have also thought about the Toteme T lock in the same colour as yours as I would wear that all seasons. TBH I have also seen good reviews about the Prada reissue bag so might look into that so thankyou for your suggestion I appreciate it.

Even when I wear the strap in the largest size, it feels a bit too short and it sticks out from the body as the leather is more structured. I think however that the suede is a bit easier and softer towards the body and sticks out less. But you need to try it out against your body to be sure. We all look different☺️💛
