Before it was called "Celsius," being named after some scientist from hundreds of years before, to was called "centigrade," which looks similar to how one would say "a hundred degrees" in Italian, which makes total sense
I totally agree with you! It helps to better understand people (especially when they talk to each other) and eventually you can start use some of them too 😉
