Stacking up Energy Shield has been popular this league due to Ephemeral Edge (unique sword) Trickster builds that have over 10k Energy Shield, and that sword provides 20% of that Energy Shield pool as Maximum Lightning Damage to the sword!
Archmage is UNreserved mana, so not 1800 odd, but looking at your mana, probably 35% of that - Archmage builds don't reserve any mana to get the most out of the Archmage support gem - they often use Wrath (50% reserve) with Eternal Blessing - which removes that reservation cost, but you can only have the one aura active because of it.
If there are two ways to read skill gems I'm pretty much always going to read it the wrong way lol. Looks like phys to lightning is better than archmage in this case
ivory tower is a mid-late game item, that I typically use in a mana stacker Hierophant
I don't think I've ever tried a build that uses it
