I was Team Rallison but i was okay with Rumer winning because she also danced really well. at least Riker lost to someone who was actually competition, unlike Milo Manhiem and Witney in season 27. I'm still salty about it. I do think that Riker and Allison's Paso was/is the best to this day. Also, I think Willow shouldn't have gotten eliminated when she did either. just my thoughts.

I have watched that Quickstep about 50 times now, and I can NOT fathom how they did not get a perfect score on that!

Riker was robbed and I will forever be upset about it. He should've won. He was a much better dancer than Rumer

Rumer was more than deserving of her win. If any contestant was “robbed” that season it was Nastia. Also I don’t understand how people will hold dance experience against any female who barely has any but nobody cares when male contestants have major dance experience.

Shannon Thank you! Rumer absolutely deserved her win and Nastia deserved to be in the finals. Riker was good but he probably would’ve excelled more and even won with a more-loved pro like Sharna who could’ve fixed some of his technical issues like his pigeon-toes and tendency to hit every move with the same hard impact. Allison didn’t have the training or experience in ballroom to correct those easily-fixable issues and a lot of the longtime fans of DWTS didn’t like her because she was a contemporary dancer on a ballroom show and taking a job away from a qualified ballroom dancer/teacher. Riker actually competed in ballroom competitions with his sister before DWTS, against Witney and Lindsay. He had more ballroom experience than Allison who was vastly under-qualified to be a DWTS pro. It feels like giving someone like Riker to Allison in her second season after she struggled in her first season was to justify her hiring since she was friends with Derek Hough, Riker’s cousin. Derek’s girlfriend, Hayley, also a contemporary dancer with little-to-no ballroom training or experience, joined the troupe for the next season 🤔

      1. If you’re just going to criticize Riker, don’t do it on his videos
      2. Riker actually had the highest total score and the highest scoring average of the season, so statistically speaking, he was the best dancer.

@@dragonsrock6049 i literally didn’t criticize him at all. I am just stating facts.

      A. This is a better way to word it:
If you’re just going to talk about how someone else deserved to win, go talk about it on her videos and leave Riker’s videos alone.
      B. You want facts.
Fact: Riker had the highest total judges score
Fact: Riker had the highest scoring average
Fact: Having training in hip-hop doesn’t make you a professional ballroom dancer, as hip-hop and ballroom are two entirely different things.

Yes Rumer was good but to this day my all time favorite dance is Riker's paso.

    Riker Should Have Won

I have watched his performances too many times. Allison is one of the best pros. Awesome video and look forward to future videos, also Len gave him a 7 for his salsa. Len was very harsh towards him. Riker should of won and Allison was wow and brilliant. Her choreography was amazing and Riker was amazing.

Haniyya Anjum choudry Allison is actually one of the weaker pros in terms of dancing/teaching-choreography. She’s not a trained ballroom dancer and compared to the other female pros, her ballroom dancing is really amateur and lacks polish and control. She dances and choreographs on the hectic side and doesn’t slow down to give enough levels of light and shade, it’s all fast and furious. Len is a ballroom specialist and if he is “harsh”, it’s because the dance he is critiquing wasn’t recognizable enough as the style they are supposed to be doing. If he wasn’t there, couples would get away with not attempting the dance style and just do whatever they want, it wouldn’t be fair to other couples who do make an effort to follow the rules and respect the history and integrity of each dance style.

Loved Riker! But also Rumor! Both outstanding. To me it was a tie!

Both were good but I felt Riker had better dance routines due to Allison's great choreography!
