What are the Belbin Team Roles?
Belbin’s theory was presented by industrial psychologist Dr. Meredith Belbin from Cambridge University In the 1970s, He determined that the skill or individual excellence of the team members was not a predictor of a team’s results. He recognized that the way that the individual members behaved contributed to or detracted from the team’s effectiveness. Belbin defined nine possible team roles, which were categorized into three groups:
