My father told me as a child that the Lafranchini brothers did much of the plaster-work in the Irish big houses- So he wasn't wrong hahaha ! ( His family did the plumbing installation in Lugala in the 1950's, he had to ride his bicycle daily from Dublin Airport area to Lugala and home again, in rain much of the time, only one neighbour on our terraced road had a 'motor car' at the time).
We visited Chatsworth and Russborough within a week of each other, very interesting that the Mitfords sisters/ cousin are connected to both. Thanks for posting!
