As a massive nirvana fan, thank you for doing this. It was brilliant. I would have never thought I'd be watching an asmr about nirvana. Love you Kurt and asmr requests
Michael Moore "Any metal musician" Funny, I write "metal" and I do not cite Metallica as an influence. I also know of many bands, that do not cite Metallica as an influence. In fact, Metallica wasn't even the first thrash band, that would be Venom, Overkill and Anthrax, people did it before them. Those bands, especially Venom are cited more than Metallica is. Many bands also talk shit about Metallica, like Megadeth, Destruction, Kreator, Vio-lence, Dark Angel, Suicidal Tendencies, Werhmacht. Also, yes, because I think Metallica is shit, they are shit, to me. Ever think of "I think I am therefore I am"? And for someone that's not a fanboy, you sure do vehemently defend Metallica.
when i was a kid 1 of my biggest triggers was in school when the teacher would "help" me with my work but softly whisper and slowly write down the work i always felt like falling to sleep n because of it i ended up not paying attention lol
Same, my friend's mom would volunteer in class sometimes and help kids with math problems, and I would purposely ask for her help even though I didn't need it XD
I woke up in the middle of the night from a bad dream and heard this video playing in the background. Calmed me down immediately and I got so engrossed. Love your work ❤️
In elementary, I have a memory of feeling the tingles and relaxed when my teacher helped me with my work speaking soft, and dragging her finger under the lines she would read to me.
My first and most powerful asmr memory I've ever felt was the day in elementary school when the nurse would come into homeroom and everybody would lay their head down on their desk, and the room was very quiet, and the nurse would put on latex gloves and work her way around the room checking each kid's scalp combing and parting their hair checking for lice. The gentle sounds, feeling, and anticipation of your turn gave me powerful tingles all through my spine and scalp. It was very relaxing and pleasurable. I didn't know what it was I was experiencing at the time or even how to describe the feeling but I loved it as a kid :D Also this book is really cool! I grew up listening to Nirvana and still do. I did learned something too, that they had a daughter, and she's the same age as me! I looked her up and she is very attractive and definitely looks like her parents ^_^
My favorite memories would be in school. Some teachers voices were so calm and articulate it gave me tingles. And when this one kid would write on the SmartBoard. Ugh it was so great.
I'm only 14 but I grew up with nirvana because of my dad. Kurt was an amazing artist and it's so sad how his life went towards the end :( Even though I love this generations music.. most of the time.. soft rock and grunge will always be my favourite! R.i.p Kurt ♡
This is the first video of yours I ever watched and I've been with you ever since. Thank you so much for all the calm you've given me over the last two and a half years :)
My mom used to do my makeup, hair, or nails when i was young, and that was defiantly a huge trigger. Another is that when in school you ask teacher for help and he/she comes right next to you and speaks softly and in the same time guiding you through your tasks. I always love how some people have that very kind, gentle voice. Extra love for your look in this! Keep up the amazing videos.
I don't know how many times I have watched the same videos over and over again in the time travel tingles series because they put me to sleep so quickly. Thank you so much your amazing at this.
The clothes back then were a lot more comfortable too, baggy jeans long t -shirts air walk sneakers or converse like KC wore, long greasy hair, a must have was jeans with the knees exposed, I'm surprised smashing pumpkins were not on the vote.
That's the thing about aging rock stars, they don't always turn out the way this expect them to. I love the pumpkins from the 90s and still listen, but I can't go support Corgan these days. PS, hello from the future
About two years ago, when I was twelve, I saw an episode of good mythical morning. It was on asmr, and I started watching you and dmitri at massageasmr.
Hi, it`s pronounced as "redding" but I love the way that Americans pronounce it as if "reading" a book. I live in Reading and went to the festival that year. Nirvana were amazing.
I always had tingles when I got my hair cut and never realized until around this time last year that there was an entire RUclips community dedicated to it.
Been hunting for videos for a week that could give me the tingles, and this totally nailed it for me, don't know how I didn't find it before. Thanks!!!
OK so this is a little late on the earliest childhood memory trigger; but when in kindergarden I would act like i didn't understand or comprehend what the teacher was saying so that she wuld come over and show me personally how to color a feather and whisper in my ear while helping me. I wuld draw out of the lines on purpose and act like it bothered me just so she wuld come over and show me how to do it again. LOL. I swear this is true! I'm 31 now...
When I hurt my arm during a "holiday program" at school I was sitting on this nice comfy chair resting it up on the arm rest. I was in year 3-4 at the time and this girl in year 2-3 came up and started playing doctor at her own leisure. She had a bandage and payed very close attention to me being comfortable and cared for as she "fixed" my arm. It was such an amazing and unique experience that I remember so vividly and only figured out recently why I felt the way I did thanks to ASMR :)
I'm so late but fun fact, the show in Conor Hall in Belfast was actually cancelled and never rescheduled, the band cancelled that date and 6 other European ones to take a break from touring, and The Cranberries were meant to be the support act for the show
I have been trying to find something like this for awhile now. :D its awesome I'm a huge Nirvana fan and I use ASMR videos to help me sleep and clam me when I have panic attacks. This is one of my favorite videos now :) thank you
just have to say, you put all of your asmr videos together so intelligently and creatively. love all of these themed videos, and you integrate asmr tingles into it as well, awesome job!! :-)
This is awesome. You are awesome. I'm so psyched that you did one of these whisper, tingle, BDSM thingys about Nirvana. Your nails are gorgeous by the way.
I remember when this video first came out. I was extremely sick. I had a really bad sinus infection and could barely breathe, which made it difficult to sleep. This video (and a Zpack) were the only things that helped me get some rest.
My grandfather was my first ASMR memory...I used to sit on his lap and he would tell me stories of when he was a kid and his voice would always give me the most amazing tingles
I just love the concept of Time Travel Tuesday and Thrifty Thursday, because not only do we get to enjoy your lovely voice talking about the things we love, but also, we learn so much. With these videos, I've learned about a lot of things that I didn't even imagined that existed. And of course, we get that sweet ASMR, as always
Nirvana are my absolute fav, Their music is just ear sex. Your videos are always so relaxing and soothing, And you just look so beautiful it's unreal. Thank you for your videos, You always put so much effort into them - A true ASMR artist! 😄❤
Dear ally... I think after watching one of your update videos, I noticed you mentioned this was one of your favorite videos you've done because you became a nirvana fan. Well, I'm 12, and since the moment I watched this video, I fell in live with this band. My parents think I spend my weekends reading the nirvana Wikipedia page anyway... This video has changed my life and I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to film this, and put as much work as you did into this. Happy tingles!
The first time I ever experienced ASMR was during quiet reading time in second grade. The page flipping and crinkling of library book plastic covers was absolutely entrancing.
I also love how you said "Allegedly" a suicide. Its because of all the shaky shit involved with his death. Somebody killed Kurt that couldn't have possibly been himself.
Arizona Tea ... users, ppl who suffer from depression absolutely are prone to suicide... Courtney "saved" his life before, and he went on about his day... because he wanted to end it then. That was his warning. You can't save someone who is tormented by life.
My favorite childhood trigger was when my Grampa told stories to me and my sisters. He has this beautiful gravely whisper and it always made me feel so comforted and relaxed.

I never get or have gotten ASMR in real life, the only tingles I have ever felt came from youtube. However, when I do get tingles It always reminds me of when my mom used to play with my hair when I was little.
i purposely failed my 1st grade numbers test because every time i didn't name a number the teacher would quietly whisper "that's okay" and it set off my ASMR. I didnt know what it was but i was like "this is cool" lol
I loved and still love going to the eye doctor for checkups, also sometimes just sitting in silence sometimes or in class where all you had was faint whispering and pencils scribbling
When I was a kid I used to love hearing my mom, grandmother, aunts, etc. rummage through their handbags/purses. Same thing with backpacks. Especially the zippers on backpacks.
Best childhood memory would be when the teacher would come to your desk and whisper help with your work so as not to disturb others, that close proximity and need to pay attention really did it for me.
Dang got this recommended and saw that this vid is already seven years old... that gave me a major flashback to the times when I started listening to ASMR and only stuck to your channel for about a year.. I was only 14 at the time. Hard to explain but al the memories just hit me at once. Loved your channel!!
My biggest ASMR trigger as a child was playing telephone or whispering secrets with friends. Playing "beauty shop" with my mother or friends (applying makeup, brushing/styling hair, painting nails, etc.) was also a big one.
Once again a nice video full of tingles. Thank! My Tingley memories goes back to school at around grade 4 or 5. Sometimes our teacher had us close our eyes and asked us to do some visualization. Listening to nothing but her voice would give me Chills. At the end, she would touch us on the head or shoulder to let us leave one by one in silence. It was so relaxing! I think that's were it started =)
I think that one of the earliest asmr experiences that I can remember was from my piano teacher... I'd been taking classes since I was six years old, and whenever my teacher would let me sit to the side while she played a piece, the really liquid smooth movements of her hands on the keys made me so relaxed and gave me some tingles :3
Teachers talking and explaining things, being read to, having my back scratched, getting a haircut, and the absolute best: having the back of my head/neck slowly scratched in an upward direction
i remember my first feeling of asmr in second grade, when every morning someone would have to go up and set the time on the little play clock. usually it was hard for the kids so they would stand there and think then turn the hand really slowly. i got the tingles and looked forward to it every morning. i told one of my classmates about the sensation but she looked at me like i had 8 heads. up until last year i thought i was crazy! love this community and enjoying the fellow tingleheads :D
Story time in the library. Or when my teacher would draw stories on a big paper pad on an easel. Her soft voice and the marker against paper was really nice
(I know this vid is old but I just wanted to share) oh my I really loved when my friends drew pictures with one of their fingers on my back and I had to guess what they were drawing! then we switched placed and I drew on their back. I'm in high school now and it would probably be a little weird if we did that now 😂
Man I wasn't even alive when he died, but I strongly idolise Kurt. Seemed like such a troubled but amazing guy, I wish I could've met him
Same here man
Yeah man. Me too, bro
SAME. Kurt was a legend and still is!
Same here!!
The Father of a friend of mine knew him before he was famous
I STILL come back to this video, it’s very nostalgic and it gives me good vibes
same. When I really need to feel safe and secure and that I’m not in any danger I come back to this video
Me too 🥹
As a massive nirvana fan, thank you for doing this. It was brilliant. I would have never thought I'd be watching an asmr about nirvana. Love you Kurt and asmr requests
It is so sweet & respectful the way you speak of kurt. He really was a special man and nirvana are incredible.... I love dave too

I've driven through Aberdeen. Fuckin depressing place

+Ashton i spot my meme father
My dad did that when I couldn't sleep
whenever we had reading time this girl next to me would always just barely audibly whisper read to herself, almost mumbling. I loved it !
Where can i get this from!!!!

Stroking, drawing on my back and slowly whispering whilst reading a book were my favourites:)
Mine was when I was about 5 and I would lay next to my dad wall watching a movie and he would massage my head I would always fall asleep everytime 😂
