im back to this video... 7 years later... but not 7 years younger and i dont see my younger self anywhere... oh well this is the first asmr video i ever watched and where i learned that i loved tapping, scratching and whispering. ally rules.
Sarah Galle she explained it in her 1 year anniversary video actually! She said that she hooked bright green strings on it and her boyfriend was holding the strings to make it look like it was floating. Basically she used green screen
I know this video is old but just wanted to comment on how awesome it is that you tapped, traced and scratched that floatee board for 40 whole minutes. it made a wonderful sound so that was 40 minutes of amazing tingles for me personally. so, thanks Ally :-)
Love these videos! I love this natural, quicker speed of you speaking in this video because it sounds more natural and raw instead of slowly speaking in your more recent videos, which feels less tingly because it's a little more on purpose.
YOU HAVE COMBINED THE TWO GREATEST THINGS ON THIS PLANET, ASMR AND BACK TO THE FUTURE. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU TIME TRAVELER. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!
Pls consider a come back for Time Travel Tuesday. Theese videos are the most relaxing and destressing videos and at the same time very interesting and informative. Big respect to you for collecting all this facts and share them with us.
I absolutely love your Time Travel Tuesday series! Its amazing. While I was born in 1986, a lot of the things you did for the 90's hit huge chords for me growing up. Keep up the amazing work!
I live in the town where they filmed most of the scenes in Back to Future. At the real mall it was filmed at, there's a sign that says "Lone Pine Mall." It's pretty cool
now it s Dec. 2017. i m still watching your greatest ASMR videos before sleep. it s been around 3or4 years..? i cannot remember exactly but people were waiting for your amazing works and still they are. thanks.
Cant wait to watch this! Its quite an ambitious shooting schedule you are doing! 2 vids a week is no joke! Quite a bit of time involved there. Thanks for your hard work!
I reallllyyyyy enjoy these videos! Primarily because it's soothing hearing you say facts about the things you're talking about. I'm a huge fan of the BTTF franchise and it's cool to hear you talk about it, along with some tingling sounds! Please make more! I also liked your Harry Potter video of the Time Travel Tuesday series because I'm a movie buff and just generally enjoy people talking about movies. Well done, please make another video of this series!!!!!! :)
I lost it with the floaty board. First I was laughing then I was suprised when it floated. Finally, I went hysterical when I watched the scene again. Great work, thanks for keeping it real.
Okay I'll be the first to admit that I know nothing about filming, cameras, special effects or anything like that but I just have to say that floating skateboard thing was awesome!
My 11 month old son saw you on the screen and wanted you to hold him. He was so sad when I told him you couldn't. He was literally trying into crawl into the computer to get to you. Had a complete meltdown. lol.
Back to the Future was the first movie I was ever able to watch from start to finish without interruption. I remember feeling weird yet satisfied as the credits rolled and didn't realize that was the reason at the time but thought of it later.
Kubrick and Spielberg were really close friends. They envied each other's style a great deal throughout their whole careers, and each wished they could make movies like the other.
I can’t imagine Kubrick envying someone else’s work, he always came across as cocksure. Not necessarily in a bad way, but definitely self aware of his greatness.
P.S. Ally, I just love your videos. You have probably the highest production value of any of ASMRtists out there that I'm aware of. It's super impressive.
wow- you're narrative style, endearing personality, and your beautiful hands which seem to have minds of their own make this a bit of a classic. I haven't heard anybody with such a good storytelling-like way of speaking for a long time. It seems it's almost a lost art. Did your mom or grandmother tell you stories in the way you do? Or did you naturally have this talent? It brings peace to my heart, and I dapple in drowsiness, awaken, and you're still there! Shades of being rocked to sleep...thx
Back to the Future had a lot of "Easter Eggs". I like when Marty comes back from 1885 and the sign by the rail road tracks says "Eastwood Ravine" where people in 1885 thought he went over the Ravine and died.
I love ur videos!! They're always really well researched and great for general interest along with being great Asmr vids. Beats any relaxation therapy by a country mile! Especially love this back2the future vid :) keep up the superb work :D
these videos are NOT worthless. just wanted to let you know so it cancels out anything negative people have to say about you or these videos because you/they are great!!
Damn I never knew how hooked on your uploads I was until you didn't post for a few days and I found myself checking RUclips like a crackhead. You're the shit ally never change girl
candy buttons! and i half to say i love your videos. i and my dog fall asleep to your videos only you and GentleWhispering can get my dog to relax I think you 2 should make a video together Thanks for the videos!
I consider myself one of the biggest BTTF fan, but you found a few things even I didn't know! (such as the Van Halen facts..) GREAT job on this! Very relaxing, too :)
Ally, you definitely need to try to bring back Time Travel any day! You should do Spaceballs! Anyway, love all your highly informative TTTs! You're awesome!
The lil smirk after "density" tells me that was not a slip up but a reference to a line from a movie but its not coming to me where from??? This is now tied (with another asmrtist) for my favorite video!!! Now watching it for the third time. Thanks ally!!!
I don't know if anyone else has said this, but similarly to the lone pine mall thing - in the third one it used to be called Clayton Ravine as doc's love interest went into it - but as they then rescued her it never happened. I think it got called Eastwood Ravine in the end (I won't say why in the major unlikely event someone hasn't seen it)!x
I'm open to all kinds of videos! A binaural mic setup may be in my not-too-distant future, so perhaps then would be a good time for an ear-to-ear video. :)

The sound of your nails on the hover board is so relaxing
9 years ago. i really miss these vids from Ally..
YOU HAVE COMBINED THE TWO GREATEST THINGS ON THIS PLANET, ASMR AND BACK TO THE FUTURE. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU TIME TRAVELER. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!
I miss time travel tuesday :(
I was just about to fall asleep when I heard "It's your density!" And I burst out laughing. Haha. oh, I love you. :)
Pls consider a come back for Time Travel Tuesday. Theese videos are the most relaxing and destressing videos and at the same time very interesting and informative. Big respect to you for collecting all this facts and share them with us.
Happy Back To The Future Day! I love your videos and fall asleep to them all the time! :)
I absolutely love your Time Travel Tuesday series! Its amazing. While I was born in 1986, a lot of the things you did for the 90's hit huge chords for me growing up. Keep up the amazing work!
your videos help me relax and fall asleep, which sucks because your videos are really fun to watch!
This is awesome I love the touching of the 'hover board' and all the interesting behind the scenes stories you are the best!!!
Truly love theses movie talks and hidden insights you do. Very interesting

i hope she brings the series back!
Back to the Future was the first movie I was ever able to watch from start to finish without interruption. I remember feeling weird yet satisfied as the credits rolled and didn't realize that was the reason at the time but thought of it later.
This series is awesome. Learn so much
Am I the only one who felt soothed by all this banter, what a succubus!
Succubus is a demon that pretty much rapes people in their dreams and then kills them xD I think you mean siren?
Kittenofdoom123 No i mean Succubus, you perfectly outlined why I chose that.
Thats not very nice
marcopolo3001 Well that reply made my day.
Kittenofdoom123 you are welcome
My heart skipped a beat when that freaking thing started floating in mid-air. Holy crap.
How did she do that?!? This girl is magic.
Kubrick and Spielberg were really close friends. They envied each other's style a great deal throughout their whole careers, and each wished they could make movies like the other.
I can’t imagine Kubrick envying someone else’s work, he always came across as cocksure. Not necessarily in a bad way, but definitely self aware of his greatness.
these are no joke my favorite videos that she does! i hope she comes out with a new one soon!
P.S. Ally, I just love your videos. You have probably the highest production value of any of ASMRtists out there that I'm aware of. It's super impressive.

I loved this. I had no idea the amount of.. basically magic that went on during the production of BTTF.
Back to the Future had a lot of "Easter Eggs". I like when Marty comes back from 1885 and the sign by the rail road tracks says "Eastwood Ravine" where people in 1885 thought he went over the Ravine and died.
Ahh a film about time travel on time travel tuesday, how fitting!
My goodness you must be every tecnogeeks dream girl with those kind of special effects. Great job again!!!
I was just thinking about you and the videos before going to bed. Glad to see this is up now!

I really love these episodes, relaxing and interesting !
I'm not an 80s kid, but I've always loved 80s candy! Air-heads are probably my favourite. Another great vid as always!
Yay back to the future! That was my favorite movie and it still is!! Great vid!

Was sure I wouldn't learn anything new, but damn you did your research, good job
This is awesome! Back to the future ASMR! Very impressed!
My favorite candy from the 80's was Fun Dip, best stuff on the planet! And the line is "your density has popped me to you."
How could Spielberg not like the score to Romancing the Stone? The end title is amazing, Alan Silvestri nailed it.
This is, and always will be my favourite movie!! Great video and good subject pick. Keep up the good work
I always thought Eric Stoltz turned it down. I've been thinking he was a colossal moron for decades. Thanks for setting me straight.
candy buttons! and i half to say i love your videos. i and my dog fall asleep to your videos only you and GentleWhispering can get my dog to relax I think you 2 should make a video together
Thanks for the videos!
I consider myself one of the biggest BTTF fan, but you found a few things even I didn't know! (such as the Van Halen facts..) GREAT job on this! Very relaxing, too :)
Love this series! Queen of ASMR!
My forever favorite asmr video
Ally, you definitely need to try to bring back Time Travel any day! You should do Spaceballs! Anyway, love all your highly informative TTTs! You're awesome!
"It's your density" LOL. I love it! :-)
The lil smirk after "density" tells me that was not a slip up but a reference to a line from a movie but its not coming to me where from??? This is now tied (with another asmrtist) for my favorite video!!! Now watching it for the third time. Thanks ally!!!

Do you have a date set for the release of the next Departure Ep.?
I have to say you make the most interesting videos! Well done. Favorite 80's candy: Now and Later
I don't know if anyone else has said this, but similarly to the lone pine mall thing - in the third one it used to be called Clayton Ravine as doc's love interest went into it - but as they then rescued her it never happened. I think it got called Eastwood Ravine in the end (I won't say why in the major unlikely event someone hasn't seen it)!x
imagine she films all of this and then near the end she just sneezes.
I loved this video! I enjoyed the movie trivia, and the sounds were so nice! :) Thanks!
Your kids must think you are the coolest mom ever. Even though they dont understand yet how you make them go to sleep on time every night
Love your videos & still excited for the 2nd installment of through departure series (:
