I’m planning to set up Hyprland from scratch to suit my preferences. Could anyone guide me on how to learn everything I need for this? If you could share some resources, that would be really helpful! Also, I'll be using NVIDIA drivers-are there any specific things I should be aware of?
@@Amit-hb9ex id say first of all, copy someone's configuration that is closest to your liking and then tweak it to suit your needs further, everyone starts that way and it's better than starting on a clean slate

Thank you this was really fun. I used this to customize my first fresh hyprland install as I want to start learning how ricing is done. The only thing I'm currently stuck on is I'm not sure how to fix the icons in the waybar config.jsonc. Currently they're little blocks. Do I need an emoji pack for that? I also need to get the theme to apply to dolphin/firefox, but that should be an easy fix. I'm sure I can find an example on how to do that in the nixos wiki or on github.

How your application looks same color as wallpaper
Is it the compositer or you applied theming on each application manually
It's either a colorscheme that matches the wallpaper colors or it's dynamically generated using something like pywal or wallust
Most gtk and qt apps take the theme from respective engines, I applied explicitly for apps like vs code, etc and defined some window rules for opacity and blur

allow_tearing = false" gives error i forgot what it said but ig it doesnt work anymore i copied this part of config from another one and it didnt give error so like yea... sorry ik it aint much but yea
