Wow the streets are impressively clean
from Kenya...Salisbury looks exactly like my childhood town...Nakuru in the 1960s-70s..it was the cleanest town in East Africa

There were actually quite a number of bombs set off that day within post boxes. I was on duty at the time and used to drive that police B car rego. PSP284, quite often. Thanks for the memories!

My grandfather served in the police force during that time. Many of my relatives like him were part of the citizen/BSAP units during the war. Proud of them and their dedication/courage.

Someone found a suitcase under a down town bridge, the PD called the bomb squad, they came out with their robot and blew the hell out of it with the disrupter cannon, it's was some shitbumbs worldly possessions. Now the SB has fewer things to worry about. Ya can never be to careful ya know.
Everything looked so clean, no trash or vagrants wandering around and look at the trees and grass, all so lush, green and well, it just looked pretty beautiful.
