  • 👉 Welcome back to my channel!
I'm excited to share another fun exercise to help you practice prefixes and enhance your word formation skills. Again, I've added explanations for each word - one of the missing elements in my previous videos. I hope this addition proves helpful.
💡Today, we'll explore the fascinating prefixes "sub-" and "under-." The prefix "sub-" means "under" or "below." For example, a "submarine" is a boat that goes underwater. The prefix "under-" also means "below" or "not enough." For instance, "underwater" means below the surface of water. Both prefixes help change the meaning of words to show something is beneath or inadequate. Remember, etymology doesn't have to be dull! This exercise offers a unique way to boost your students' linguistic abilities.

📚For teachers - Measure your student's ability to focus
I've recently encountered significant challenges with students struggling to focus for over a minute. To address this, I've integrated three levels into this video that encourage students to sustain their attention. This video is part of my new series, which features the focus exercise as an additional activity complementing the quiz. In this series, students are rewarded for their ability to concentrate rather than for accuracy.
