Hiking Thru the Bible: God Has Israel Circumcised -- Both in Flesh and in the Heart

Spring Valley ranks up there as one of my favourite state parks in Nevada. It's isolated and beautiful. I loved the scenery so much on this Stone Cabin trail.
I'm doing a hike through the Bible and here God is preparing Israel to take Jericho, but first things first, Joshua is instructed to circumcise all the eligible Israelites. This was a sign of God's covenant with His people. BUT they were also to have a circumcision of the heart, and so God reinstituted the Passover service. Also because they were now in the land flowing with milk and honey, God stopped supplying the manna. Have you ever wandered away from God and then come back to Him? How was that for you?
