    How did you get the areas of the cross sections?

      simple math bud. cross sectional area is equal to (pi)r^2 or (pi)d.

      32fman pi*d is for the circunference though, for area is pi*radius^2

      1. i watched this video because i needed help in the matter.
      2. i was not being condescending in my reply. i was being friendly and wanted to help a fellow student achieve the same end result, which is figuring out how to do problems like this.
      3. had i been condescending, i would not have tried giving him the right answer. (i did give the right answer and am now aware i also made an error).
      4. go ahead, laugh your ass off. I'm so happy i could make you day.
      you could have been like dan2funk and told me of my error like he did. but for some reason you get you jollies off by starting internet wars. well, BUD, i fell terribly sorry for you. my comment has been there for nearly 2 years. let that sink in. 2 LONG YEARS. and for some strange reason, some very strange reason, you needed to go out of your way to call me a moron. your self esteem must be so low.
