Thank you Dr.Tori. I have been devouring all the books on this approach. I deeply appreciate how you simplify some of the language around the symptom requiring schema's problem/solution and clarify that both can be made actively conscious and discomforted for reconsolidation. In absolute awwww and gratitude 🙏
Also, I love your final statement noting the requirement/biological necessity of grief for things that have no conclusion. I would love to learn your understanding of the neurobiology of the grief process.

How do you discover the childhood story behind the schema? In the example, you explain what was the situation this patient had as a child. But being adults, and in less obvious cases, how do you discover behaviors that were going on in childhood that created a schema?
I am totally loving these informative video's Tori . You present them so well and your body language helps with the delivery of this content. I just want more ..
Is it possible to discover our own schemas (core beliefs) without a therapist? Are their resources (youtube videos, web articles or books) on discovering our schemas (core beliefs)? Please give a list
I love your videos & recommend them all the time - thank you so much for sharing your expertise & spirit this way! But more importantly ;) where can I find the whole outro song? It gets stuck in my head & I love it, but haven't been able to track it down! Thank you! 😊
@10:30 how's it the mind/body/soul doesn't know the she survived the trauma? Why does it get stuck & think it's still in the trauma and needs help out of it?
Hi Tori. Love your videos!!! I'm trying to find the one where you spoke about how some memories are stored in a part of the brain that is unaware of time pasing. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong but if anyone knows what I'm thinking of please help cause it's driving me nuts, haha.
Easier said than done. Retrieving suppressed memories is the key moment of almost every therapeutic approach and it's not made easier by creating a brand new type of therapy.
I love that you wrote the music also! Thank you for your wonderful content.
Wonderful! I loved what you said about the specificity of schemata. In pop psychology, people don't go further than those "negative beliefs" lists

Yeah, I think that's in the IFS video on healing trauma. I think it's called 'ifs for healing trauma: unburdening from exiles.' Hope this helps! ;)
@@DrToriOlds ah, thank you so much!!

8:20 I can relate
Your videos are extremely informative and interesting. Have you considered adding subtitles in other languages to reach a larger audience?
