In my 11th and 12th class C++ was the first language that I learnt. Now I am a Chemistry person, but here I am learning BASIC language. C++ still has it's own uses and it's used heavily in competitive coding for it's speed and STL, but for development, I'd say Java/Python are great general purpose programming languages.
I want to learn C and C++ because I want to get into the development of GIMP and other open-source graphics tools. This is only because to extinguish the fire which always ignites inside me when I watch the latest features in Photoshop and other products. If they can't have applications for Linux, there better someone competing head to head with them in Linux. So, if anyone else learning C and C++, please do contribute to such projects.
Choose any one b/w java or python. If you know the basic fundamentals of OOP and begin with C++, you will have little difficulty understanding Java and almost no difficultly learning python.

C++ is the low level and Hybrid language and won't be replaced that early. Even more, its for the students to learn how does algorithms and data structures work under the hood. C++ is still being used in CP about 79% of the time

C++ still has it's own uses and it's used heavily in competitive coding for it's speed and STL, but for development, I'd say Java/Python are great general purpose programming languages.
I want to learn C and C++ because I want to get into the development of GIMP and other open-source graphics tools. This is only because to extinguish the fire which always ignites inside me when I watch the latest features in Photoshop and other products. If they can't have applications for Linux, there better someone competing head to head with them in Linux. So, if anyone else learning C and C++, please do contribute to such projects.

C# and SQL is not so important. C# is used for Game Development in Unity only and SQL is 4th generation language so it is useful but not as c,c++, java and python. And I know all c,c++,java, python.

Start with Python, you can easily understand all the stuffs and then you can easily switch to another languages.
I recommended python or c for beginners. Learn python to learn the basics, learn c to understand how program really works.

Bro to be honest , as a beginner i completed c++ and then learning python r8 now..and what u said earlier about c++ like memory allocation is completely r8 .

@Shweta if you're really ambitious about c++ then it would take .. probably2 - 3 months.. including graphics in c++ like using SDL (standard directive libarary)....

I have learned basics of c in 10th. And after that i am learning html5 css and JavaScript in 11th to make a website as extracurricular activities for applying to universities. I have no idea which type of programming i am gonna do. After web development and making a website, should i switch to c++ to strengthen my basics or should i learn any other languages or should i go deep in JavaScript???

i was a web dev , now i am a fulltime graphics designer , but in the start i've learnt c / c++ and yeah i haven't forget about that language cause learning these two languages as my base , now i can learn and understand any language in this world , it made my base so strong whether i don't use it now but i am very happy with my decision of learning this , no matter what you're stream is if you have time please learn C/C++ you won't regret it

@@nirmalbuoy Noob. DS/algo can be implemented in any language. And in top universities of the world like mit etc, they teach ds/algo to students in python so that they can focus on algorithms on higher level and not to worry to deal with low level stuffs.
@@rahulsawhney1279 i just gave preference keeping in mind the Indian College Syllabus. I know it can be implemented in multiple languages though. Obviously Python isn't preferred because in the coding rounds conducted during placements Python is not given in option.
Every language has its own feature... C/C++ is close to machine language... If you want to interact with hardware, you should go with C/C++

Try unity, it is good for beginners. There are many tutorials for unity on youtube. It supports both 2D and 3D. Assassin creed is made using unity.

I feel like i will never understand the other languages without knowing C++, i made the best decision ever which is learning the C++ first before python😅(i used to learn python at first but i heard about C++ and switched to it). When i already master the C++ i will learn Python, and then Java, then HTML, CSS, JavaScript and get a job as a software developer!! I feel like when i already master C++ i will learn other languages easily xD. Btw im just 15 years old im so glad i got interested in programming while im young.
