I do acknowledge my culture (which I can't box myself - I am literally a total mixture of South African English and Afrikaans - I regard my heritage as both) BUT when it comes in terms of "whrre I come from". As far as I am concerned I come from where I was born and grew up which is Mowbray/Rosebank Cape Town on the slopes of Table Mountain and those are my ONLY roots. Not even my ouma from Swellendam - I don't consider it my roots but part of my heritage. For me there's a difference there. But a good message Neil thanks
