Okay, I've been playing with the pack and lemme help a bit.
1.) Animals take up SO much time, but it's worth it! Keep. Them. Happy!
2.) The gardening skill is KEY! Get that up for BOTH sims
3.) Get to know the locals! They can give gifts and you can offer your services as an errand runner. You WILL get money and items that are useful.
4.) Wild rabbits and bird flocks can be beneficial to farms! Make sure you befriend any you find.
5.) Knitting and Cross Stitching as you know, will bring bank. However make sure you have all necessary items. Also you CAN knit animal clothes for the livestock and wild animals.
6.) Animal Treats. Craft them and I'll let you see for yourself how they are useful.
7.) WILD FOXES=BAD FOR FARM!!
(Because I forgot a couple)
8.) If you have surplus items, go to the stalls in Finchwick and sell them. Making money is always a good thing.
9.) You can trade animals for meat, simoleons and ingredients.
Hope Dicee see this. Ashley doesn't need job anymore. She can make money from the locals buy doing their errands and selling her farm goods to the local stores.
@@Maevae7 when it comes to gameplay like this, *EVERYONE* could use as much help as can be given. Now my gameplay may be different, yet the stuff I mentioned seem to be pretty consistent no matter what.

I already love this series. And I think it would be super cute for their to be a storyline where Carly makes a male friend, the male friend becomes a father figure to Carly's child and then he and Carly slowly start to form a romantic bond due to their mutual love for her baby

I had an idea for Carly and child support. Since her ex told her he wanted nothing to do with the baby and for her not contact him, maybe Carly gets hush money in the form of child support so she can’t announce to anyone that she had his baby. 😈
This series looks like it’ll be so fun and cute!! I don’t think I have to beg but pleaaaaaase don’t abandon OBC bc I’m in love with Amber’s family 😭

Hi Dicee, since we already know that painting give Sims a lot of money, it might be more fun if on this series you don't use this skill and focus on the ways that came with the cottage living pack. Also, that plopsy thing definitely is one of the MANY glitches the Sims 4 has at the moment.

Love the series! you need to give the llama special treats to get other colours wool. And for the feature kid maybe Liacka (pronounced Ly-A-Ka) if it is going to be a girl, it is a combination of the first animals on the farm, a lama and some chickens. For a boy, it could be Ewo, from eggs and wool. simple names, but really original, Liacka is my personal favourite

If you look at the signs in town you can see who needs errands run. Like the crumplebottoms or the creature keeper. It's not a great money maker but you can get food and garden stuff and sometimes cute outfits for animals. So I would absolutely have a sister do it.
if you ever get a cow i think calla would be a really pretty name, calla's are a type of lily and the word means beautiful (they're one of my favorite flowers). I'm a fairly new subscriber to your channel but your LP's have been so much fun to watch. Your editing is so lovely and your story lines are incredible.

Hens-female, roosters-male. Llamas can be either one but are not defined as either one by the game, so Bob or Betty, whichever you want since you only get wool from them. Cows give milk so they are always female.

i love this content!!! I think a good name for a rooster or hen that is brown could be nugget. Because of that talking bird that is named nugget. Also, cows in my country are usually called mimosa, morena (brunette), luzia. I don't know about llamas though

If you'd gotten a baby rooster you would have been able to get fertilized eggs and grow more babies
Roosters aren't necessary btw, they're just loud. Unless you actually want to have chicks, then obviously you need a rooster. If you just want eggs for food, then just get hens.
