Reminds me of my Oblivion OC... He used to have a bunny plushie, which he would use as a comforter, but his parents tossed it out when he was 5 because they believe that serious and responsible people do not need comfort plushies. And the reason he isn't silly and happy like the rest of the family in the first place is because the parents made him do chores unsuitable for his age just because they didn't want any responsibilities. Like, what 3 year old is expected to vacuum, do laundry, and take care of a baby? My Smiler OC also tried to stop the parents from tossing it out, but despite him being the favourite child, they didn't listen.
