I prefer Kata beach to Patong beach. Kata beach is much more peaceful. Patong beach is just very crowded. Also food in Kata beach is much cheaper

You can take a look at OZO Phuket. They have a nice kids pool. Very close to Kata beach. Quite some food places around that area too

Katathani closer to Kata noi beach so we did not put in the list, but definitely a very nice hotel

Where did you come up with ridiculous low prices???
We got the prices from Agoda. Not sure when you plan to go. If you plan to visit around the rainy season(May to September), the prices are much cheaper. If you planning for Oct to Dec, the prices are much higher
