  • It's All Falling Apart!...Grohe Sliding Shower Head Holder Repair. I don't think it's a faulty slider bracket causing a drooping shower head. I think the grohe shower head holder was not tightened proper. blue loctite thread locker helps. Subscribe here :www.youtube.co...

    Great quality brand to work with and a great company that backs their Germany made products… I have some customers that only want this brand in their homes … Good easy repair you made for your friend

      They are a great brand. I have to think that the person installed all this did not tighten anything. I’ve went through 2 baths and the kitchen. So crazy.

      Yes some installers or probably plumbers in this case can do sloppy work

    It's sad how many contractors take advantage of people or just don't care. Completing a job correctly the first time does not take any longer than cheating the job. Great fix and looking out for a friend!

      LOL are you kidding me. A professional is someone who does work for money. Why do you assume a professional is good at his job? Its not cheating they are just incompetent.

    I am putting in a new shower and i would like some fancy shower heads, but they all seem crazy expensive are any of them a reasonable price that are good?

    • @ThatFixItGuy
      @ThatFixItGuy  Год назад

      Your right they all seem wildly priced these days. Check out speakman. They have an Amazon store and you can find some models that are reasonable for their quality.
      If you went with a moen, delta or a kohler you would always be able to exchange it when it quits.

    I'm confused. All those washers looked normal and unworn. What happened that the shower holder/washers stopped doing its job and required additional glue? Is using this glue a common fix where multiple washers are involved? Thank you for this video for this certainly is a common problem seen.

    • @ThatFixItGuy
      @ThatFixItGuy  Год назад +1

      Everything was in good shape. Just the screw came out. For some reason all his fixtures were this way. I’m assuming nothing was tightened good. The thread locker just makes sure the screw don’t come out and this happens again.

    • @seekerbee4494
      @seekerbee4494 Год назад +1

      @@ThatFixItGuy Okay, thank you for your answer. This is why you placed a small "dot" of glue so not only will is secure the screw, but in the future when replacing the fixture or it needs future repairs, the glue won't add a significant inconvenience to work on it?

    • @ThatFixItGuy
      @ThatFixItGuy  Год назад +1

      It is removable thread locker. It will not be an issue. Use it all the time.
