Hellyea, you caught the blah blah blah. Life is a maze woven with words, and that maze is a mess of blah blah blahs. Life can be nonsense. You'd expect fancier words like from earlier in the song, but nah. Life ain't that nice. Usually folks comment on it just focusing on "blah blah blah, how weird and random" or something. Nah, its saying something.
If you prefer instrumentals than listen to the older tracks from the previous games. Strive was the first game to give every character themes with lyrics. Copy and paste "Holy Orders (Be Just or Be Dead) (Live Audio)" into youtube search bar, this is best version of the #1 most defining song in the series. Jack-a-Dandy, Original Bet, and Bao Bable nose are some of my personal favorite instrumentals.

Something I don't think anyone has mentioned - the "I'm not here to fit in this world" sections borrow a lot musically from Pink Floyd's The Wall. "We don't need no education" etc. Queen is one of Daisuke's favorite bands. The protagonist of the series is named Sol Badguy, aka Mister Bad Guy.
The lyrics definently only make a ton of sense if you know the lore, but if you know then you KNOW. Naoki is one of my favorite vocalists, he's so extremely talented and seriously a chameleon when it comes to style. I know vocals aren't what you're listening for but my favorite example of his variety is in the track Requiem. It's actually hard to believe it's him in that song at some points. The instrumentation is also top tier on that track of course, it contains probably the wildest guitar solo in the series, fitting since it's about a character who wields a guitar. That's my recommendation for today I think o7 A.B.A is the second latest DLC characte (the MOST latest literally just dropped today lol), and her return to the series is pretty wild since she hasn't been seen in the series at all in more than a decade. Seeing her go from probably the most niche, most isolated playable character in the series, to getting such a special spotlight for her return makes me really happy. She's a humunculus created by an alchemist named Paracelsus, but the lab she was created in was uninhabited when she awoke. She eventually found a sentient, key shaped demon axe named Flament Nagel, and fell in love with it due to her strange obsession with keys. She took him as her husband and renamed him Paracelsus after her creator. Paracelsus (the axe) controls his wielder, making them go berserk which gives the axe a source of blood to consume. A.B.A's biology seems to make her immune to that controlling effect tho, but she's fine with spilling some blood for him anyways lol. Eventually Paracelsus mellowed out and he's kinda just, really hilariously normal like he thinks she's crazy, but he ended up growing to care for her. Their relationship was quite dysfunctional for awhile but it all came to a head in Strive where they finally had an honest conversation, and now they're working to improve themselves for eachother. It's a really really bizarre story but it's oddly human when you learn the details lol. I love A.B.A and Paracelsus so much I've been maining her along with my usual character Bridget since she came out. If you want some recommendations from the older games, then "Holy Orders (Be Just or be Dead)" (specifically the version of the song from Guilty Gear X2), "Pillars of the Underworld" and "Magnolia Eclair" are all peak, and also all Ky Kiske themes lol, that guy just gets all the peak themes.
My view of the "woven with words" followed by the "blah blah blah" Is that since ABA is pretty crazy that this is like a rant of frustration from her. Like another way to phrase it would be "Always with this blablabla bullshit that makes it all confusing"
I think its less ABA's mental state, and more that from the perspective of someone like ABA who's more or less an outcast, you just see through to the nonsense of life. Things that barely follow logic, soul crushing emotions that don't make ANY sense but you feel strongly nonetheless, rules that were made up to keep up appearances while ignoring the issue at the core. People aren't always rational, and this maze might as well be static.
if you want a good instrumental song from guilty gear, one that people dont often mention because its from a guilty gear game thats not a fighting game, is ”diva” from guilty gear overture. theres parts of this song in other character themes too because of lore reasons and stuff lol
I think it's understandable that you don't like the way the songs are sung. Even if you like Naoki Hashimoto's singing, it is very obvious that English is not his first language. Also, the lyrics and the way he sings are very "experimental", strange in general. Even so, the rest of the OST is still very good. But if you are going to visit old GG, I would like to take this opportunity to recommend my favorites from GGXX: "Suck a Sage (Chipp Theme)" and "Haven't you got eyes in your head? (Slayer Theme)". And from Strive, I recommend "Rock and Roll Rock Hard Maniac", based on your reactions, maybe this song will be cool for you! Very good videos. Keep it up!
If you don't like the singing, you can also check out Blazblue Centralfiction ost. It is also a fighting game, and the ost is done by the same composer, and it is also metall as hell. It is as creative and badass as a guilty gear osts, and sometimes the riffs are even sicker
I wish they would release the instrumentals because they do exist somewhere out there. A bunch of the original character trailers used the instrumental versions of the songs, but they just never dropped when the game came out lol
If you want to do the older Guilty Gear games for no lyrics then consider Blazblue too. It was their flagship title when they lost the license to Guilty Gear, so they made Blazblue and Daisuke wrote the music for it.

Yeah it makes me think she’s just sick and tired of all these descriptors. Being told how she has to be.

Never forgive a shenanigan 🗣️🗣️
To be fair, we had lyrics in some Crd songs (Heavy Day, Sky Should be High Tsuki no Shihai, just to name a few).
Most of xrd non character themes had vocals. Lily, wanna be crazy, coming home, storyteller to also name a few

If you need an older GG song recommendation, "Still in the Dark." I'm sure you've already gotten recs for "Holy Orders."
The part when it sounds similar is when the song says “I’m not here to fit in this world, I just want to make a difference”
The lyrics definently only make a ton of sense if you know the lore, but if you know then you KNOW. We just got a new Strive song. Also ayy!
My view of the "woven with words" followed by the "blah blah blah"
Is that since ABA is pretty crazy that this is like a rant of frustration from her.
Like another way to phrase it would be "Always with this blablabla bullshit that makes it all confusing"
Or that world aint perfect, it is, in fact, quite a mess.

Say you are not ready for metal queen on Guilty Gear Track is hilarious. I am sure someone already told the MC of Guilty Gear name is Fredrick
I wish they would release the instrumentals because they do exist somewhere out there. A bunch of the original character trailers used the instrumental versions of the songs, but they just never dropped when the game came out lol
"Blah blah blah blah" represents how the character hears those around her.
If you want to do the older Guilty Gear games for no lyrics then consider Blazblue too. It was their flagship title when they lost the license to Guilty Gear, so they made Blazblue and Daisuke wrote the music for it.
If you don't like the singing you can try Disaster of Passion, or Extras since they are sung by different people
Try gg isuka ost
Oh you don’t like the lyrics? Time to recommend extras!!
